Elle22 and Ola1981-So strange that they seem to send woman on different days - Elle22 12-14 days post 5 day transfer, Ola1981 day 9 or 10 and anything above 50, another woman I know was sent on day 11, me day 9 and was told they wanted to see 100+.  I don't understand why so much variation from patient to patient.

Every clinic just decides what they like to see. Bhcg starts to show up in our blood once the embryo implants so technically you could test earlier than day 9 as well. I've heard of clinics going a full 2 weeks past 5 day transfer too.
There is a huge variation in betas. You could check out beta betabase.com to see the varying betas at different days post transfer that have been reported..

When is your beta??

I think it depends on the clinic.  At my home fertility clinic Markham...they do tests on 12dp5dt.  However, I just did a cycle at a clinic in the Czech Republic and I did my test at 9dp5dt.

Good luck!

I realize there is a huge variation in the beta reference ranges, but I think it's kind of odd that Olive doesn't send their patients for their first beta on the same day post transfer and have the same reference range for each patient.  Why would the same clinic tell me that they want my number to be so much higher 9 days post transfer than they told you they want to see your number?

Did you email the doctor? I emailed her asking why I should wait one week for my second beta and her reply didn't really make sense to me

Mine was 11dp5dt. They were looking for anything over 100.

Jolbak...I was at Olive as well and my second read was also one week after my first. Then they scheduled my first ultrasound for 6w0d.
