Question about Estrace during FET cycle

I can't seem to recall very well my previous FET so I'm hoping some of you can chime in. I'm about to start my FET protocol in two weeks, which includes 4mg of Estrace twice a day starting on CD#2.

 

Specifically I'm wondering if any of you have experienced Estrace reducing your flow and length of your period at the start of your FET protocol.

I am moving towards FET soon too and my protocol seems different. . . a higher dose of estrace from the start. . . I am with a new clinic though. . .

June 1 2016 FET #2 -- 1 beautiful (and final) embryo transferred. . . 

June 13th 2016 Beta 1 -- 337!!  th_abfp.gif

June 20th 2016 Beta 2 --2743!!

Now viability scan on June 24th!!  Fingers crossed! All looked good!

US# 2 heart beat heart yay!!

US #3 -- no heartbeat -- waiting miscarriage 8388.gif

 

Oct FINALLY miscarriage and all pregnancy tissue passed cry.gif

 

Nov 26th -- Mini Stim IVF started as last resort before donor eggs or donor embryos... sadly only one embryo and was abnormal so discarded

 

2017 -- donor egg or donor embryo, traditional adoption or give up sad.png

 

Didn't give up but had a horrible experience with Donor Embryos and the clinic that I went through :(

 

Returned to my original clinic for Donor Egg and got a th_abfp.gif and stayed preggo.gif and had a babygirl.gif !!

Yes, I tend to have a shorter and lighter flow on estrace.  At my last FET my period was less than half of what it should be and lasted just 2 days.  Normal for me is 5 days.  My clinic wasn't worried about it and I had success, so it can't have impacted my cycle too badly.

My FET protocol was also different.  I started 2mg of Estrace 3x per day from day 1 of my cycle, then 5 days before transfer they moved it to 2x per day.

 

I never noticed a reduction in flow or length of my cycle.

I hope I experience the same as you! I'm due to get my period while in the middle of our holiday and I'd love to have my period be lighter and shorter.
