2 brides - Thank you. My Dr only does one, but I wish he did two. It would give me more peace of mind. My first ultrasound is March 17, St Patty's day! I will be 6w1d.

Just got my bloodwork results back from Friday's blood draw, which seems like forever ago! Ha. HCG went up to 4730. I'm pleased with that! I am nervous my clinic will be mad at me for cutting my estrogen dose in half without their permission. My first beta, my estrogen was over 1800, and it just needed to be over 100 they said. And I was feeling the effects of it like crazy. So I dropped down to half as much and my bloodwork reveals that at 993. Which is still well over what it is supposed to be, but I mean, if they compare them, they will see. Hoping they don't mind. How is everyone else feeling?
I had a rough night with sick wife and kids, everyone waking up and calling for me (except my wife, she slept in another bedroom to not contaminate me). And I'm not sure if it was the interrupted sleep or the pregnancy, but I am SO EXHAUSTED TODAY. Like I cannot get it together. I am in a haze and searching out sleep opportunities anywhere. I cancelled a lunch date with a good friend I only see every couple months because I want to sleep during lunch. I definitely didn't have this type of fatigue with my last pregnancy, and I hope it's just the bad nights sleep and not the new normal. Also, my appetite is huge. Like an NFL football players. It's all I can do to not eat everything and become obese!
How is everyone else? Symptoms?

Skroeze, my son's beta was only 36! It barely doubled and then finally started multiplying more by the third one. I'm terribly sorry to hear of your loss in 2005, that's an impossible tragedy. I hope your second beta gives you more optimism. Friday it is!

Hope- Did you put 2 in? That is a high beta! Would you be excited or nervous about the possibility of twins?

Hi everyone!

I also got a positive test after my February FET. I am still very nervous for the first ultrasound. My mind is not ready to accept that I may be pregnant. I have no symptoms at all either, except sore boobs, but I blame that on the progesterone.

Don't worry about no symptoms yet! Mine are all from the hormones. My exhaustion turned out to be because I came down with the cold my family has. 😣 And not taking anything to help it is the worst. Sore throat and congestion/coughing. It's the pits.

I am only 5 weeks and 5 days today. So it is still pretty early to feel much. I am still very nervous but also slowly getting excited for the ultrasound. First the thought of being pregnant was so surreal, but now I am thinking why wouldn't it work every now and then. Definitely makes the waiting a little easier at times.

How is everyone else doing? When do you have your first ultrasound booked? I am also curious if people are pregnant with their first child or for the first time? This is the first time for me that I got pregnant after trying for over two years.

SunnySkies-
My u/s is this Monday. Around lunchtime. I will be 6wk2days. I'm excited to see the jellybean. This is my second pregnancy, but my wife also carried a baby for us, so we have 2 children. My first pregnancy I had really low betas and everything seemed to be a couple days behind in the beginning, but then everything normalized. This pregnancy has been pretty normal so far, nothing alarming, which is a relief.

2brides: I remember you commented in the February FET thread about the low betas in your first pregnancy. Really nice to see a positive outcome. I read the details on your page, and I hope you (and me too) will have a slightly less stressful pregnancy this time. But as long as the end result is a happy and healthy child... no complaining :D

My transfer was one day earlier on February 15th, so my due date is November 3rd. Seems so long ago already, but yet the ultrasound next Friday is sooo far away.

I think I have also spotted my first pregnancy symptoms: 2 gigantic pimples in my face! I almost never have pimples. Happy international women's day to me haha.

Hi All!

I am going to join this group hopefully for the next 8 months!!  We transferred 2 embryos on Feb. 21 so due date should be Nov. 9 (my dads birthday which would make him so happy and I initially wanted a baby born that time when we started trying 3 years ago!).  First beta was Monday (13dp5dt) and was 2538 second beta today was 6036 so far so good, although my betas always look good but this is the highest yet!

Ultrasound not until March 22 so another 2ww.

Sept 2015 IUI #3 BFP ended in MC at 10 weeks

IVF Jan. 2016 8 day 5/6 embryos, 1 transferred MC at 5 weeks

FET April 2016 cancelled due to thin lining

FET August 2016 transferred 1 embryo ended in MC at 6 weeks

Loyal- excited to hear about your ultrasound tomorrow! You are the first in the group I think! Wait, Maple already had one and has twins!

Maple- how are things going? Any updates to share?
Islandgirl- how are you? Updates?
Hope- When is your ultrasound? I'm anxious to know if you have one healthy bean in there or two!

My ultrasound is scheduled for Monday around lunchtime, I'm excited. For some reason, this pregnancy doesn't seem real yet. Maybe because my only symptoms are hormone related and now cold related. And last pregnancy, I felt so much going on inside me, like twinges and pulls and such and this time... nada. Even in a January afternour failed FET, I could have sworn I felt implantation. And then nothing. This whole February cycle. So it seems strange to me that a baby is growing in there without telling my body anything! Ha.

How is everybody doing??
Skroeze I am sorry, I hope the beta on Friday brings you some good news.
I have my second ultrasound for next week, I will be 7 weeks.
As for symptoms some bloating and sore boobs. Ohhh and some morning sickness that actually has been showing up during the day as well...but pretty mild.
This weekend I am moving so concerned as hubby will have to carry most stuff.
Can't wait to hear from all of you.

No updates for me, my first ultrasound is the 13th in the afternoon.  Everything is the same otherwise.  I am very tired this week, but that is the only new symptom, and I blame the drugs.  I'll be 6wks 5 days, I've never made it to ultrasound before so I am nervous and excited at the same time.  I'm buried in homework most of the time since I thought it would be brilliant to take CPA classes while undergoing treatment.  Although it is a good distraction, I am so tired this week that when I get home from work I can barely keep my eyes open let alone concentrate on writing papers!  Oh, and we just got a new puppy so we're busy chasing her around too. And..started a new job this week.  Sorry I've been MIA, I guess the universe is keeping me occupied right now!

First round IVF - April 2016, had to cancel due to OHSS risk. 19 eggs retrieved, 15 fertilized, 4 made it to day 5 blasts and were frozen.

1st FET - Oct 31/2016 - BFP (Betas 192 & 989) - miscarriage Nov 19

2nd FET - Feb 13/2017 - BFP RE said it was an "easy" transfer. Embryo was sticky & didn't leave the tube the 1st try annd had to be reloaded which makes me very nervous!1st beta Feb 24 = 346 2nd beta Feb 28 = 1107 3rd beta Mar 2 =2341

So, about 5 minutes after I posted this last night I started bleeding. It lasted about and hour & a half total but was bright red.  I never filled a pad, just spots, but it was there when I wiped.  Only one small clot came out.  No cramping or anything.  This morning there is just a bit of darker blood when I wipe.  I called my clinic but haven't heard back.  Thoughts??

Islandgirl: Sorry to hear this. I don't have any experience with bleeding and spotting, so I can't really say anything. I have heard that just the circulation to the reproductive tissues is now much better. So it is much easier for a little vein to rupture or something like that. But I totally understand your nerves and fear. Are you on vaginal progesterone pills (prometrium)? They can irritate the cervix and cause bleeding and spotting that way. It happened to a friend of me. And I guess the darker blood might mean that whatever was bleeding last night has now stopped.

On a complete side note: congrats on the new puppy! I have a dog too.

Welcome to the pimple club mapleleaf! I hope our membership numbers will stay low. I am debating giving my two major pimples names at this point, but that might be pushing it, haha. Good luck with your move this weekend.

SLR14: I am also getting a little nauseous on and off. But then I thought maybe thinking about it is getting me paranoid enough to actually feel nauseous. Time will tell.

2brides: I feel very much the same. Such an unrealistic idea that I am pregnant. I hope your ultrasound will make it more real!

Islandgirl85 I also do not have experience with bleeding, but I agree with SunnySkyes it looks like whatever caused it may have stopped. I understand your fears...I hope you can talk with your clinic and maybe do an early ultrasound just for reassurance.

SunnySkyes- haha. That is so funny ...you made me laugh.

AFM- been feeling cramps on and off like period is coming which freaks me a lot. Everything may be normal or signs that something bad is about to happen... What a roller coaster..

First of all, Islandgirl, I know any sign of blood is scary, so I'm sorry you're experiencing that. I have had experience with it, in both my pregnancies, and everything I've been told or read is that, if you aren't having severe cramping, no need to worry. With that being said, I actually did have a lot of bleeding around 8.5 weeks with my first pregnancy and it definitely filled pads. I was petrified. Turned out I had a sub chorionic hemorrhage, an SCH. Which was like a little pocket that would fill up with blood and then gush. It healed after 3 weeks.
With this pregnancy, I am on crinone progesterone vaginal suppositories and occasionally the gross clumpy discharge has quite a bit of brown blood in it. Not enough to scare me, but if I didn't have huge disgusting clumps of crinone blocking the way, I'm sure I would wipe blood every now and again. But the crinone acts like a sponge. And Sunny Skies is totally right about all the extra blood flow and pathways going to your uterus right now. A little blood every so often is normal. An app I have on my phone says that 1 in 4 healthy pregnancies experience bleeding during the first trimester. Aren't you lucky?

Maple leaf, don't fret, mild cramping is normal as the uterus stretches and expands, I've been feeling some too. Really yesterday only, and I couldn't tell if it was abdominal muscles being tired from coughing and coughing from this dreadful cold, and then after a period of time without coughing I felt it and realized it was my uterus. Part of me feels reassurance that stuff is going on.

SLR14, what does your name mean? Are those your initials? Just wondering. Also, sorry to hear you have had nausea, but glad you are seeing the silver lining about it being a really reassuring pregnancy symptom. I haven't had much. Maybe 2 waves of not feeling great, but after a handful of peanuts everything was normal again. And it may be like SunnySkies said, it could be the power of persuasion rather than actual nausea. Ha, ha.

As for me, my cold is kicking my butt. That's all.
