Hi everyone!!!

This is a place where people who have had success at VFC can post freely about their pregnancies and ask questions. The main board is great for support for those that are cycling but it would be best to leave the pregnancy chat to this group.

Thanks!! H&H 9M!

Thanks Dawnkey for creating this space

Meggirl I'm still not there yet, hoping over the coming weeks it'll sink in. It's all very surreal and hard to grasp. I'm just over 18 weeks now and just learned on Saturday we're having a girl......which is also strange but I knew it was a girl lol. One day at a time!

Hi gals!

I hope you're feeling fine. :)

I feel very fat today. LOL. I'm only 10w so technically my uterus is still behind my pubic bone but I feel like my middle is growing. I went to my dietician on Friday and lost 2lbs but all my regular shirts and pants are tight around the belly but fine everywhere else. I actually pulled out my maternity clothes and washed it all - then wore some! I don't know why I'm resisting wearing it - no one would know it was maternity unless I showed them the belly. hahaha. I think that subconsciously, I'm waiting until after Christmas when the second trimester starts. lol.

We had the NT scan today - everything looks great- low risk. Baby was looking good, but somewhat uncooperative. Heart rate was 150, NT measurement was 1.6. It was a good day. :)

Currently 41, DH 46 - severe male factor, advanced maternal age, immune issues, uterine issues with TTC#2 following c section and miscarriage

TTC #1- 3 failed fresh cycles age 35-36 (one cancelled) and one successful FET at 37 (DS:)

TTC #2 - 2 fresh cycles at 39 and 40- one miscarriage and one failed (uterine infection after)
-3 failed FETs (2 with complication of uterine fluid but went away after progesterone)
-2 cancelled FETs (one due to uterine inflammation/infection after miscarriage and one due to uterine fluid)
-2 great quality frozen embryos left - one day 3 (at 39) and 1 day 6 blast (at 40) waiting for FET - have figured out the protocol to avoid complications and just hoping for my golden egg

It's so hard to wait around for something that may never be, but harder to let go when it's all you've ever wanted"

Dawnkey awesome news!

Well things are just flying by here, just over 21 weeks now. Our anatomy scan looked good from what I was told. She didn't want to cooperate for the spine part but they did manage to get it after I went for a short walk. At the end when they allowed us to see she kept putting her foot over her head lol she also prefers to lay transverse or breech but mostly transverse so it's created some pelvic pains and all movements are super low down on my pelvis and bladder lol.

Can't believe tomorrow is another prenatal as well, seems the weeks are just flying by!

How's everyone doing? I'm just moving along here, I thought maybe time would alow after the holidays but it has not which I'm kinda thankful for. I'm just under 2 weeks from viability and still can't wrap ,y head around all this. I'm thankful she's a mover, she sits transverse all the time so hoping she fet's the memo at some point she can't come out that way lol.

Anyone have stroller or car seat Suggestions? I'd like a bucket seat that doesn't need rethreading and has a high weight and height limit.

hello all. happy to see everyone here! I am at 24 weeks almost 25. Time is going by so fast. I was put on bed rest two days ago as we found out I have partial placenta previa, marginal cord insertion and a part of the placenta has torn away from the uterus. I am on bed rest until I can see the specialist in Victoria and then we go from there. Other than the issues I am having baby girl is doing well and healthy!

Hey mimi didn't realize you were here too lol. Hope things settle for you and baby keeps growing and cooking.

I'm 25 weeks today and honestly can't believe it. I've been more tired and uncomfortable the last two days and my heart has started skipping again, had this issue in the past which ended up being nothing and I know it's common in pregnancy but it still sucks. Thankfully I have a prenatal Tuesday. Also my next prenatal will be 3 weeks after and then every 2 weeks until 36 weeks! Where did time go?! Almost out of the second trimester......

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Pearl Jam we had the peg perego 4-35. High weight and height limit and no re threading. I loved it. It was a bit pricier than others and maybe a bit heavier but we really enjoyed it.

Me -27. DH-32
Me- PCOS- diagnosed when 14ishDH- 100% normal
Married 2009
Took a year "off" before TTC - ha ha hind sight is a wonderful thing!
Talked to the doctor about PCOS( as he was not the one who diagnosed me with it originally)-- wanted us to ttc naturally for a year before fertility treatments.

2011- 2012- sent to RFP for a consult. Suggested to go on clomid, went on clomid for numerous cycles. Nothing was happening, phoned to get on IVF waiting list, doc told me to stay on clomid because it was working for me, just might take a little more time. (He said this without ever monitoring me). Went back to family doctor and he suggested

VFC2013-- phone consult with VFC, decided to do IVF

August 2013- Severe OHSS, all embryos frozen- 10 in total
November- 2013- set to do first FET, estrace didn't make lining thick enough and also breast lump was found (benign, but still monitoring) so cycle was cancelled.

February 2014- FET #1- BFN
April 2014- FET #2- BFN
July 2014- FET#3- BFN.......

Mock cycle to do an ERA test and do another FET if ERA comes back good.
ERA test done on Nov. 13th- results came back Receptive- thats good news i guess.... still no answers as why the previous 3 FETS didnt work

December 2014-
FET#4- BFN
Wtf appointment- doctor thinks DH and I are too genetically similar and therefore my body rejects the embryo and the NK cells take over.

January 2015- immune testing- dh and I are a partial match meaning 1 out of 4 embryo will not implant and I have high NK cells. Trying another transfer. Gluten free 12 weeks, intralipids 10 days prior to ET, and also day of ET. Prednisone and estrace.
March 19- intralipid treatment
March 29- transferred 1 grade 17 embryo using assisted hatching and more intralipids

April 10th - BETA - BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In total shock!
Beta#1- 335
Beta# 2- April 13- 1250 We are officially pregnant :) Now to wait for our 7 week ultrasound! 7 week ultrasound went great- Baby was measuring 6w6d and a heartbeat of 140!!!! so cool to watch the little heartbeat!! EDD December 16th Lilypie Pregnancy tickers

Thanks farmgirl! We actually scored the 30/30 from a good friend so we won't even need to buy a seat now! Which thrills me as now I won't feel so bad investing in a really good one for the convertible!

Depending on what app you look at I'm now on the 3rd trimester which is crazy. We've only started collecting things but haven't prepped anything yet and likely won't until further in. I still fear things going wrong and can't wait till she's here in our arms.
