I've been in the process of trying to have my own family since 2007. I conceived with my own eggs back in 2013 multiple times but lost the pregnancies (chances weren't high at age 43), the worst miscarriage being on Mother's Day. Was a cruel heart break.

 

I value a forum like this where women can come together online to encourage one another through the challenges.

 

I am healthy and extremely active (done many triathlons and play hockey with 20 year olds) with no issues besides having old eggs. I'm now looking to conceive with an egg donor.

 

I'm based in Victoria, BC. My clinic has encouraged me to look for a Canadian donor and/or use a Canadian agency rather than a US Donor bank. I do not feel inclined to travel to Europe for a donor.

 

Any recommendations, insights or connections welcomed.

HI Miss Canadian Girl 101, thanks for your reply. Ideally, I was hoping for a local donor on Vancouver Island or Lower Mainland to keep the expenses more reasonable but that might not be realistic. Could you pm me with more personal info about you? thanks.
