I'm trying to decide between Dr Brill and Dr Layland. I had lap 3 years ago and found endometriosis that was treated at the time. The pain has gotten back up to severe and I had been warned that I would most likely need a subsequent surgery in 3-5 years by my doctor. 

 

Has has anyone possibly seen both to be able to compare them (or highly recommend their own doctor)? I have been to a doctor in Toronto who just shrugged off my history and told me that "in Toronto we don't do laps for endo" (my previous surgery was in BC). I don't want to wait another 3 month only to find out that they won't listen either.

I had my lap surgery 4 months back from Dr Brill. Personally, I feel Dr Brill is an amazing doctor and surgeon. Great bed side manners and very knowledgeable. I had stage 4 endo. He was able to clean up as much as he could through excision keeping in mind I wanted to get pregnant. If you can get a referral for both and see which doc you are more comfortable with.Hope this helps.
