Hi Dr Fiona,
I currently have severe endo, with DOR and poor egg quality. Am prepping for my second ivf cycle.
What is the safe dosage for Vitamin E and NAC?
I am currently taking 400 IUs of Vit E and with NAC the bottle says to take 1 pill (500mg) however I read online that some women take 1.2g (1 pill three times a day).
I talked to my RE and he said that 1.2g of NAC is fine, however when I read the book "It starts with an Egg", the dosage recommended was only 600mg. Seems very conflicting!
Please help!
IVF #1 - Estrogen priming antagonist protocol. Poor responder. 6 eggs retrieved, 2 mature. 2 fertilized with ICSI. Transferred on Day 2 (one 4 cell and another 2 cell) - BFN
31 Years Old, deemed a poor responder with DOR due to severe endo (chocolate cyst on right ovary).
Am currently trying to figure out what worked for others in similar situations as me ?
