Hi Sukhie

I have my first appointment with them next month, after that we'll start everything. Where are you getting acupuncture? I just love the relaxed feeling afterwards, it's the perfect end to the day! :zz:

Good luck Shawn with the acupuncture, you'll love it!!

Talk to you girls later.

[Hi Brit,

I go to a naturopath downtown - Dr. Doan, she is awesome. She always makes me feel so calm and relaxed. One other thing that I am trying out is abdominal massage - I discovered this registered massage therapist that specialises in this area and she is also very terrific. Abdominal massage is supposed to increase the blood flow to the uterus. Let me know if you want the information for that too.

Keep in touch once you go to Genesis - maybe I can help you out.

Hi Girls,

I just wanted to drop by and say thanks for all the opinions on the clinics. I am still in limbo about what if I will be doing ivf anytime soon... :dontknow:

I had a follow up appt with my Gyno after having the ectopic preg. removed from my right tube (lap) and I have to wait 2 cycles before I can have an HSG to see if my left one is okay. The dr. who did my lap looked at my left tube he couldn't see the end of the tube and thinks the tube is scarred, but wants to have the HSG to check it out before he refers me to a clinic. He said he usually sends his patients to Genesis, but if I need to see a specialist about my tubes, I will have to go to UBC. So, I am trying to be patient but AF hasn't shown up and is nowhere in sight!

In the meantime my DH and I are going to start acupuncture at Acubalance this week and are both really hoping this will help. I have been so depressed about eveything this past month I need something positive that will help the healing process mentally and physically.

TTFN,
Andi

oh how frustrating for you !!! other than the $$$ (which is a huge factor i know) i don't know why you can't just get on with the ivf regardless of your tubes. I know that we put off doing ivf for a long time, because of money & stress, but it was a huge relief to finally start the process.

I have a friend who's willing to pay for IVF but her dr's are making her go through a bunch of other treatments first ... the stress & depression every month is so huge.

ahhhhhh

I hope you get to your HSG soon & get the answers that you need to move forward
