Hi everyone,

I'm just wondering if anyone who signed consents at the Ottawa fertility clinic in between January and February has heard anything? I was added in February and haven't received any information recently.

I joined in early Feb and was told the waitlist was 12 months long! Ack!

We're paying our own way in the meantime, but if we don't have any success with a couple of self-funded cycles it will be a huge relief when our government-funded turn comes.

I was put on the list on February 8 (Questionnaire) and I got a call August 3 that my name came up on the list. We are updating our tests and then we will be signing the consent.

Our consent signing is Sept 6 and they are saying October or November. They are moving faster than expected.

I already signed my consent because i thought maybe i would do a private cycle (when i was told i wouldn't get called until january-march 2017) so I wonder if it will go even faster for me!

I think the consents for funded and non funded may be different. I hope it is quick for you regardless, the waiting game sucks.
