Can anyone please tell me what happens in a FET cycle? I just called Dr Arthur's office expressing my urge to start an FET cycle asap after I got my BFN yesterday. My last one was a fresh cycle & I'm heart broken after I got BFN. I don't wanna waste time but not sure if i can start FET cycle right away.

So sorry for your BFN :(  I think after a fresh cycle, our clinic wants us to have one cycle off but not sure if that applies for FET for just another full cycle.  I am going for a FET consult Monday but our last IVF was almost 2 years ago.

Age 40, DH 44 in Oct.

TTC on and off since 2007 before our second IVF, in 2014, brought us our beautiful son and our first FET brought us our second son in 2017.  Our family is complete!

IVF #1 - April 2014 - BFN - no frosties

IVF #2 - July 2014 - BFP - 5B-AB and 4 frosties (5B-BB, 2x4B-BB and 3B-BB)

Apr. 13, 2015 - Daniel Erik was born at 5:05 am, weight 8 lbs, 13 oz, and 22" long.  He is perfect in every way.

FET #1 - September 2016 - BFP - 5B-BB and 3 frosties (2x4B-BB and 3B-BB)

June 18, 2017 - Matthew William was born at 2:46 am, weight 8 lbs, 11 oz and 21" long.  He is perfect in every way too!

I am doing an FET this month ( i froze all during my IVF in May due to OHSS risk). I just got AF, started estrace today, will go in for an ultrasound on day 14, start progesterone, transfer on day 21 most likely. So sorry to hear about your BFN. Positive vibes your way.

Thanks amp77 & LC285 for your reply. I got an appointment with Dr on 13th & nurse will probably call me tomorrow to let me know if i can start FET right away. I still haven't got my AF, only a little bit of brownish discharge before my beta which heightened my hope so much that I was sure abt being preggy 😳. It's my day 15 post ER. Usually AF should come at the latest by day 14. I'm damn worried, don't know what's happening to my body. Anyway,I wish you both ladies all the best for ur FET. Wish we all get success!

Sometimes it can take your body a few days after you stop the progesterone for AF to arrive. I wouldn't worry too much.
