I did my test at 7am, waited anxiously by the phone all day and never got a call :( I'm so anxious! My hpts haven't been getting much darker so I just want a confirmation either way. I'll keep you posted! (Thanks for thinking of me!)

17. My beta came back at 17. I cannot believe it. They are making me do another test tomorrow which feels ridiculous with that number. I'm really disappointed. Not shocked but it's finally hitting me.

What happened after your beta drop? Did you go back into the clinic for a meeting to talk next steps or did they tell you over the phone?

I am so very sorry to hear that :(

I still have moments where I think about it and get really emotional, it's so hard not too!

I hate that they send us for blood work again and again! I had to go yesterday again to make sure my levels went back to normal! They called this morning first thing to confirm that my levels were negative now.

They talked to me a bit about next steps last week on the phone and sent out the lab requisitions for my and hubby! They told me not to do my day 3 blood work on this period because it won't be accurate due to the miscarriage but to wait until next period.

I guess we have to meet with a doctor before we start the process again so they scheduled me a follow up appointment with Dr. Scott in office to talk about what happened and next steps! But they charted this period and told me to call in my next and hopefully we can start the fresh cycle then!

Was that your last frozen one? Will you try again?

Again I'm so very sorry! What a kick in the butt when you get that positive and then the Beta is low :(

I know! I wish it it was either positive or negative and not this weird positive but...

We will try again yes. I don't know how many times we'd try we didn't talk that far ahead since we were so optimistic about this one. We have 5 more frozen embryos, so we'll do another frozen transfer, though I'm not sure if it will be the same protocol as this one or not.

Thanks for the support, it's nice to talk to someone who understands this whole messy experience!

I agree! I feel like if it was negative right off the hop, It would be easier to process!

I'm so glad you have 5 more frozen that you can try! Maybe they will put 2 in this next time!

I just hate having to go through all the medications again! The injections don't bother me, it's not so much that but the whole combination of things! Having to take so many at so many different times!

Let me know how things turn out for you guys! Sending you lots of thoughts and sticky vibes that grow into a beautiful healthy baby!

I also got BFN in August 20th and went to see Dr Scott yesterday. I am planning for my next FET maybe in September. I just need someone to talk to because it has been so hard on me.

Sorry about your BFN Tony. They are so incredibly hard. I had four failed FETs last year. Be kind to yourself and feel whatever you need to feel. I let myself lay in bed for a day or two then I got up did a butt kicking work out, went out with friends etc. For me getting back up and into the game with a new cycle helped but that's just my Experience. Hugs xoxo

Hi Bug and Tony - good luck to you both on your next FETs! Tony, how are you feeling? I know this doesn't help, but trying to focus on any positives around the delay, and time really, are what made it easier for me. Although I have to say the hardest part has been all the new pregnancy announcements - they are all due around when i would've been, and that has been hard.

I saw the update to this thread and thought I'd come back with a quick update :) After our chemical, we went in for a WTF appointment which lasted about 1 minute and they basically said it worked it was just not a good embryo/not our baby. But the procedure worked, the embryo did implant and start growing, so they didn't change a thing about our protocol this time around. In my appt they said it wouldn't be a long wait, and it wasn't - I got the call to start again in August. I'm in the midst of all the meds (suprefact, estrace, etc) now with transfer around Sept 19. Fingers crossed!

Hi Travelingsands, thanks for checking on me. I am much better now. Just awaiting for my AF to start so that I can call in. How are doing with your medications and preparations? Are you also doing acupuncture? I wish you all the best things your heart desires.

@Bug88 how are you doing?

I hope you get a call back quickly! I'm doing pretty well, I'm on the exact same protocol as last time so I know what to expect. My ultrasound is on Wednesday so fingers crossed that goes well, and what I really want is a confirmed date for transfer! I'm not doing acupuncture - I did it back in 2014 for my fresh cycle, and I was doing it for almost a year before that. I honestly don't know if it helped with the medical part, but it really helped ease my stress (which was sky high while TTC and starting IVF). I didn't feel like I needed it for the FET or this time - but if it doesn't work this time I will likely try it the next time just in case it really did make a difference. Are you doing it?

Yes i plan to do it but I wanted to wait for my AF and a call from RFP before booking an appointment. I just wanted to try it out and see if it will work.
