Hi, our IVF doctor prescribed clomid for my DH and he's been taking it for 4 weeks now. He's also been taking Fertil Pro Men + L-Carnitine for three months. On Friday I bought him Maca capsules and he's been taking them for three days now. I read that Maca counteracts with clomid for female fertility. Does anyone know if this is the same for male fertility? My husband's had two SA come back with zero sperm count and one come back with 24,000 sperm. We are going on Thursday for our second attempt to freeze some for IVF/ICSI and I don't want to wreck our chances by giving him too many different things. Any ideas?

Maca with Clomid for male infertility?

I wouldn't be able to help much but my husband has been taking maca for almost 3 weeks. He isn't taking lomid though. Personally I think it should be okay as maca is all natural. One of the YouTube video suggest not to take it unless we are sure that it is okay to take it. May be check another forum or youtube. All the best

Thanks for your responses. We went to see my husband's urologist yesterday and he was upset that my husband was prescribed the Clomid by our IVF doctor and said he shouldn't have been on it. So my husband is now just taking the vitamins every day and the maca occasionally from time to time (which the urologist said is fine to take). We scheduled a Micro-TESE procedure for August.
