I also do satellite monitoring with the combination of Trio so you will hardly go to Trio at all. When is your funded cycle? Since you are on the funded cycle I assume that you already have a protocol from a Trio RE, so then you shouldn't need to go again to Trio until retrieval. Good luck!

I don't have a protocol that I know of.... I was working with a different doctor in Orillia, and only got referred to Trio for IVf. So far, I've had one consult with an RE there and that was a year and a half ago.

From my understanding on how things work with Trio, you go in for a consult and then do further testing. Then you come in for a second appointment where they will discuss the results of your tests, and if everything checks out, the protocol is set. Who is your RE at Trio? I would call their office and ask if you have a set protocol. If you are officially coming up for the funded IVF, you should also receive paperwork that will also include what you should do during your next CD1. Have you received this? If not, exactly who told you were up for funding?

I called in my Day 1 for my IVF cycle today to the Toronto office and haven't heard back yet. Does anyone have a sense of how soon they usually get back to people in order to tell them when to come in for their Day 3? So anxious to get started!!

My wife and I are doing reciprocal IVF (my bun her oven) starting in January 2018!

Egg Retrieval- January 23rd- 12 Eggs Retrieved- 9 Mature - 5 Fertilized

I'm so confused about Dr. Bentov - he is listed on three different websites, for Trio Fertility and Juno Fertility in Kitchener (both separate but in the same medical building??) as well as in Toronto. Does he only see people in Toronto and these other locations popping up are merely satellite centres for monitoring? Sorry to bust in and ask... considering changing clinics and have emailed all three and in the meantime thought I would ask.

Dr. Bentov is not at TRIO.  He was with TCART when it became TRIO but left over a year ago.  He was my original RE and I was not happy with him at all.  I would not recommend him at his new locations.

Hi Waiting4, yes, I did a natural cycle in late Oct/early Nov 2016 and have a beautiful 6 month old boy snuggled next to me now. If you have any questions please let me know. Good luck to you - you are in good hands.

Hi not sure if anyone ch cakes this still. Just wondering how you guys made out? I didn't have the option to wait for funding. I went through three retrievals. I ended up using a known donor and have had a daughter since. I am 41 now and starting again this month to try for another. If it happens great if not we are happy. I wish everyone the best. I tried for 7yrs for our daughter and my husband was supportive but he wasn't always with me at the clinic. So try to make a connection in the waiting room because we are your support group. We all get it. We know it is hard and we get it. Some of my very good friends today are those from the waiting room. Our husbands don't always get how we feel so lean on your fertility buddies.

Again good luck and would love to know how it went. By the way I used my line of credit and it was worth a t in the end. Time ticks that's all I am saying.
