Hi auroraB - Are you also on DHEA?  Did your RE say when to stop?

I was told to stop CoQ10 and DHEA after my negative pregnancy test.

I'm taking DHEA AND COQ10. I was told to keep taking it until positive or negative pregnancy test or until told otherwise. I have DOR and hypothyroidism (can't take melatonin bc of synthroid)

Hi there. I just did my 2nd round with of ivf and got 3 normal embryos. My first I only had 3 fertilized, and only 1 made it to day 5 and it was not chromosomally normal. This time we changed my protocol and he put me on dhea and coq10 for 3 months. I believe it helped. This time we retrieved 7 eggs, 5 fertilized with ICSI and lived to day 5, 3/5 came back normal. I also do acupuncture 1-2 times a week. Hope this helps someone and best of luck to everyone!

Hi Babyflowers,

Thanks for your post. I'm on my second IVF now, first time only had 3 fertilize, 1 made it to day 6 blast. Just started IVF #2, this time I'm taking CoQ10, hoping for better results! If you don't mind sharing, how old are you and what was your AMH, FSH, AFC?

Hi All,
My first ivf I was pretty much on nothing. Had 2 day 5 and 1 day six blast all came back chrimosonal abnormal.
My second ivf I had 3 day 6 blasts 1 normal. I was on DHEA and ubiqinol. Afte retreval I stopped dhea but still on ubiqinol. Not sure when stopping that. I also did acupunture for 4 months prior once a week. Just cancelled this months fet but had started to acupunture 2 times a week during that cycle. The cycle was cancelled as I had a lite flow (not af)and although lining looked good did not want to take chance.

I only have one ovary. 3 months before egg retrieval I took prenatal and pharmaceutical grade coQ10 daily.
13 follicles, 8 eggs retrieved, 6 fertilized/grew to day 5, PGS tested one abnormal-5 healthy.
I'm a believer.
