Since I am living away from my clinic by about, iii 10 hrs, I was thinking of taking an airplane to go do my retrieval and transfert right after the new year, anybody knows about this , if a woman under IFV could or should not take an airplane after egg transfered. I really need to know, if not I'll have to go with plan b, drive down and have a sore butt after a while... LOL
Thanks Jo

LOL!

I am not asking my doc about that either! or maybe I should to see if I can get him to blush!
So do you know if the rules are the same after IUI? No sex after IUI? I was not told anything. Mind you I am on those lovely progresterone suppositories so that usually kills the mood. But I'm just curious. This I might ask my doc about, but I don't see him until Wed next week.
We were told that you could have intercourse after the IUI. The more swimmers the better. But to wait 24 hrs if you experience any bleeding. Dr. Holland posts on here talk about that a bit. Some people have even talked about having a second insemination done 24-48hrs later. It's hard to keep all these do's and don'ts straight!

Then my sisters and I booked a full spa day on the day I estimated implantation would happen. It was a day of relaxation. We took a meditation class, hot stone massage (doesn't seem to get too hot to do any harm - the stones are just warm) and I had a facial done too. I did a lot of imagery, ie. picturing in my mind the embryo implanting and picturing my blood flowing easily to my uterus wall to nourish my baby...ect... I thought it was cheesy at first but I did it and I finally got pg after 4 failed IVF cycles. I don't know what made it work (probably the IVIG) but I know relaxation techniques can't hurt.

tuna is supposed to be the worse in any form ,my dr told me absolutely no sushi(raw) due to e-coli infectionn

Shrimp, flounder, cod, sole, scallops and Lobster are considered safe and low in Mercury- I hope that helps!
If you crave a Hot dog and are unsure if it is safe, some vegetarian Hot dogs are pretty good and I recommend them.

What food do you miss eating while going thru this? I miss Subway and Peanuts!! I am craving them so bad right now, but I know it says to stay clear from them. So I am being a good girl and not eating them.

I hadn't heard much about avoiding peanut butter. It's a protein source for me as I'm vegetarian.
Do you think it's ok to keep eating it?
