Hi everyone!  I thought I would start a thread for all Mamas with July 2016 due dates!

I looked and couldn't see one - maybe I missed it?

Anyway - my name is Dawn. This is our second IVF pregnancy. My beta isn't until the 5th but I've been getting positives since Friday.

Come join me!

I would love to join this group now but don't want to jinx anything by doing so yet haha.  I've also been getting positives since last week and my beta is on Nov 5th as well.  Hope to join you very soon Dawn and thanks for starting this group!

Possibly. My first beta was 60 so Im back for another test tomorrow to see how things are progressing. My clinic likes to see a number closer to 100 or more so they said it's a wait and see for me. Cross fingers for me.

Hi again!  My beta was 1206 today!  I'm so happy but wonder if there is any concern for a beta that's really high.  I was hoping for something around 100.  I am scheduled for an ultrasound on Monday to confirm that it is not an ectopic.

Welcome Westcoast!  Good luck tomorrow Dawnkey!  How many days past transfer will you be then?

Wow Luna! Maybe you are having triplets!

West coast - I hope you get a nice doubling!

I'm going for my second beta tomorrow too - I will be 13dp3dt. My test this morning was the darkest yet and it came up right away. I am hoping for at least 100 tomorrow.

Good luck dawnkey. I'm sure you will get a good reading if you have a dark HPT that showed right away.

My first beta was at 14dp3dt. I'm now 21dp3dt. I know IVF is about endless waiting but this wait has been the hardest for me. My HPT is still not a fast and dark line. Anyway, I'll know something tomorrow.

Luna! 1260!! That is a high number!! Maybe multiples or who knows. From what I've been reading there is so much variability with beta results it can be hard to interpret just one number. You really need two numbers to understand even a little about what's going on. But either way, you are pregnant! Congrats!

We only transferred 1 and it was a 5 day embryo so I don't think it's multiples haha but I love the triplet suggestion!

B3hopeful - Welcome!! I wonder if you have more than one in there?

luna - Are the going to do a repeat beta? Or just the ultrasound next?

WestcoastB - Did you get your results today?

AFM - My beta today is 120! Still not crazy high numbers but it's doubling appropriately! I go for one more test on Monday and if the number is good, then the clinic will book a 7w ultrasound. :)

Congratulations, B3Hopeful and Dawn!

Looks like that's it for me. I was really hopeful today for a better result but my beta has started to drop so my clinic has told me to prepare to miscarry.

All the best to you ladies for an uneventful pregnancy and birth. Xoxo.

Dawnkey- thanks. I am just now learning that my numbers are a little high and twins are a possibility. Guess we got a little carried away with implanting 2 vs 1. It's a little scary when I stop and think about it..lol.
Congrats to you.. Your numbers are getting up there.

Okay jumping into this forum! Tough to do as trying to remain positive. Maybe I am still in shock! First beta was 305. Second 606. Third 1361. No more betas. Just waiting for my first ultrasound!!!! My clinic wants it the week of November 23 sometime. Just waiting to hear when it is. I'm kinda freaking out as I have just randomly started spotting brown blood mostly when I wipe. Sometimes with little brown clots. But this isn't every time. I am 5 wks!

Those are great numbers. Don't panic (your more than doubling each time). My doc warned me about spotting. He said as long as it's dark in color its natural. He said it could last a couple days to around a weej and I only needed to call the office if the spotting is bright in color like a period starting. I haven't had any spotting but from what you described it is natural. Have you called your doc/nurses about it.

I'm going for an early ultrasound tomorrow (i'll only be 4 weeks, 5 days) and they are hoping to see the gestational sac to make sure that it is in my uterus (as I've had ectopic pregnancies in the past).  If they can verity that the pregnancy is where it should be, I don't think i'll go back for an ultrasound until around the 6 or 7 week mark to make sure the heartbeat has developed.

Cdnbabe - I would worry about the bleeding, from what I'm reading online, it is very common even up to the 12th week of pregnancy.

Cdnbabe - Brown spotting is less worriesome than red. I would just trust the clinic. They have dealt with tons of people with spotting - it's not that uncommon, even in 'normal' pregnancies. Just take it easy, I'm sure they said no intercourse and stuff until the 7w ultrasound anyway. My last pregnancy - I had spotting for almost the whole first trimester, a big bleed at 9w6d and everything was totally fine.

luna - I hope they find the sac in your uterus and you can relax a little. :)

Hi B3Hopeful!

AFM - Just hanging out.. my house is a disaster because I have zero energy. lol. And my boobs feel like they are going to fall out of my bra. All good signs from what I remember last time. I go for a follow up beta tomorrow and then we're flying to NS for a visit with my family. Hopefully no more betas but if needed, I can go to lab back home in NS. Fingers crossed for a good number!
