Thanks Dr. Hollands! Nice to meet you here. I heard acupuncture is very popular in England, no wonder you've got a wonderful treatment.
I'm actually new to IVF, I have helped some people, but I think I still need to learn more. I might ask you questions in the future.

Yes, acupuncture is very popular and many family physicians in the UK are now trained in it. That's how I got my treatment.

Please feel free to ask/refer any questions if you need to. I think that acupuncture has a big role to play in stress reduction in infertility patients (both sexes) and a possible role in male infertility. You will no doubt know many other possible applications.

It would be very interesting to get feedback from patients (on ivf.ca) using acupuncture as part of their treatment and perhaps put the information together to publish as a review of the field. What do you think?

Yes, Dr. Hollands, acupuncture can relieve stress for sure. I also heared from my patients, that with acupuncture they seemed to be less moody and discomfort caused by the hormones. and I think acupuncture might make the body accept the hormones better.
In Calgary, physicians are not open to acupuncture, it is not easy for me to get access to IVF ladies. I just get my patients from word of mouth. I'm doing statistic work and will post it when I have accumulated a certain amount of patients.
