Good chili

Ingredients:

1 pound of ground beef

1 can of kidney beans

1 can of navy beans

1 can of pork and beans

1 can of tomato soup

1 can of diced tomatoes

1 medium-sized onion diced

2 teaspoons of chili powder

1 garlic clove minced

1 tablespoon of vegetable oil

1 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of pepper

In a large cooking pot add vegetable oil and heat to med/med high heat.

Add garlic and onion cook until onion appears clear.

Add in ground beef, salt&peppr, chili powder and cook until brown.

Add remaining ingredients into the pot, stir and cover, turn down to simmering.

After 20 minutes taste add more salt and pepper if needed, favorite hot sauces, or I like to add a teaspoon or so of sugar but not to much.

Serve or cook 2 to 4 more hours on low heat. Stirring occasionally.

This makes a nice thick chili, but if you like yours thinner its okay to add a cup of water or tomato juice.

Toppings if you like, shredded cheese, saltines, hot peppers, sour cream, fresh tomatoes, bacon bits, etc...

Hope you enjoy!

No draining, I think it adds a better flavor.
