Hey Ladies!! Mind if I join in on this quest with you? I really need the motivation & support :) Ideally, I would LOVE to loose another 10 Lbs, which I know can be done, but only if I really exercise & watch what I eat.
I've done well so far with the baby weight, and have had an extra boost since I have been off dairy. My downfall is that because I can't have the dairy, I have been allowing myself other 'treats' instead. It's kinda like, 'oh poor me, I can't have that bowl of cereal, so I'll have some corn nuts or gummy bears instead'. When I really should be having an apple or grapes or something like that instead!

How would you ladies feel about having weekly challenges? Like drinking 8 cups of water a day, or eating all your fruits & veggies... that type of thing?

I am keeping a food log and recording all I am eating. I have a certain number of portions of carbs, protein, milk/dairy, fruits and veggies that I can have and I eat 4 or 5 times each day.

I am finding that recording everything makes me accountable and no mindless eating. You end up eating a lot of extra calories without realizing it, a bite her and a bite there add up to extra weight we all don't need.

I am up for weekly challenges.

Hey Ladies

Mind if I join you? I presently weigh 170 lbs......haven't weighed this much in 7-8 years.....just quit smoking in December, went on vacation in January and started BCP February 1st.....due for ER and ET the middle of March......I would love to lose 10-20.....I did WW a long time ago and it worked (174 lbs - 147 lbs) but they have changed it and the last time I did it I lost 2 lbs in a month....I am trying to be active and eat a bit healthier but this is hard.....any help and support would be appreciated.

Well- not proud to announce 253.5 lbs start weight but it's where I'm at.Feb 8th/10.
My Goal is 199. Then continue on from there.
My mini-goal is 1 lb per week. Gotta start somewhere.
Any encouragement would be very helpful, this has been a life long battle for me. :wall: :(
I am not giving up this time.
I'm 38, DH 32
Married almost 10 years
After Testicular Biopsy testing for husband figured out very low count/mobility
TTC using 3 donor IUI's in 2006 Not sucessful, treated in Saskatchewan
Adopted our SON born Sept/07!!! Our little Prince.
Adopted our DAUGHTER born Jan 7/09!!! Our little Princess.
Who knew we'd have children 15 mths apart?! Grateful to have both of them in our lives.
Info session attended in Calgary Nov/09 for ivf.
Decided to persue IVF (with ICSI). Hopeful to start in April/May 2010. We're excited and scared. Decided to start blogging our journey.
One of the most valuable quotes I've ever heard to deal with heartache and to remember: It's ok to cry- "Tears are the safetly valve of the heart when there is too much pressure on it"
Had the horrifying HSG repeated again Mar 17/10-it hurt like hell and I sure didn't have "the luck of the Irish" today. lol.
Hopeful to accept/be offered treatment in May/June 2010 and get this process going. Scared and Excited.
May 20th/10 Got the call! Super excited, nervous and scared!Take it one day at a time.
Tentative Schedule : Start Suprefact nasal May 30th, Ultrasound June 14th, Start Stims June 15th, ER June 28th, ET July 3rd.
May 26th/10 Made payment to the clinic-no turning back now lol.
Converted to IUI June 30/10 as my follicles are inaccessable and it would be too dangerous to attempt ER therefore IVF not an option for us. Very Disappointed.
Very shocked to have a BFP!!! Betas July 15th(28), July 19th (152), July 23rd (173) July 25th (178)
Bleeding/cramping started July 21st. Not sure If we'll make it, so scary.
Due date Mar 24/11.
Very painful miscarriage. Heartbroken.

I am down to 169...out of the 170's now.

The weight loss has been slow, and I think the food journal is really helping me.

Whattodo - you have to start somewhere and you can't get discouraged if the weight loss is slow. Just keep eating right and go at it slow.

I am having a rough time with my will power this week.
I found a new place called Marble Slab Creamery that makes personalized ice cream and ice cream is my FAVORITE comfort food.
Two pints in 2 days plus a cone the other day, a valentines cookie from DH and a pizza pocket .... I feel horrible.
I know that I shouldnt eat that crap and yet I find myself doing it anyway.

Please see "about me" section for details

oh crap, this week has been sh*t. Had surgery on my mouth, so have to be careful what I eat. Thought that would be good for losing weight, but apparently it made me eat more of what I did eat. Maybe I had the munchies with all those tylenol 3's??

And now I can't drink cold water. (sensitive teeth).. Its harder to want to drink warm water.

Hard to keep track of everyone. Anyways, today would be six weeks of ww online and I have only lost 5 pounds. Lots of cheating sure does not help. I find I am good through the week but fall apart on the weekends. SIgh

Hey girls!

Hope you don't mind another joining in. Last year I did a few injectable cycles with iui, and an IVF and a FET, all failed. I decided that I will do IVF again this summer, IF I get my weight in the normal range!

I am calorie counting, and I work out 1 to 2 hours a day, just using my Wii fit! I started a month before my FET, and had to take a month off after my transfer. I am embaressed to post my weight, BUT I know I won't have to be embaressed about it much longer since I am being proactive about changing it.
