Curious with any recent experiences at ST.B and ultrasounds. All my ultrasounds in the past were in the fetal assessment department where family could attend and during the anatomy scan we were told the sex immediately. Now I am being sent to the second floor ultrasound department with no family allowed during the exam and they may put the sex of the baby in a report to the Doctor. Feels like I am going backwards in time. Are they less trained in that department, is it because I am considered low risk this time?
Any thoughts or experiences? Thanks!

Had my scan, I find it odd that they will show me the lips and nose, and kidneys and heart etc, but ovaries or testicles are NOT allowed.
Wha? and Why?
PS I will eventually find out, why all the secrecy hahahahaha
