Very sad to get the news this morning! I had only one egg retrieved on 5 May, which could fertize but found out to have one extra nucleus (nurse said normal embryo has only 2 nuclei, one from dad one from mom)....
I am now 37 suffered from endometriosi, with left ovary working and non-functioning right ovary (caused by the removal of burst chocolate cyst), and low amh (1.4). This is my first ivf cycle, after a failed iui and a cancelled ivf cycle.
Such a lonely and difficult road that made me depressed!

I am so sorry. You must be so disappointed. This is a lonely journey. I wish there was anything I could say that would help, but you are in my thoughts.

So sorry to hear this. It's always difficult when a cycle doesn't work the way we hoped... The grief is tough and strange.... It feels like a loss and yet we may not allow ourselves to go through that process... Hoping you find a way forward and a way to move through this... (Mine was to move to donor eggs after many losses and many cancelled cycles too). Hugs hugs hugs.

So sorry about this news... Multinucleated embryos are pretty common. I have had a few a those along the way. It does not indicate anything about your capacity to produce normal embryos the next time. It is just bad luck. Big hugs to you.

I've read some research papers saying that acupuncture could increase the egg quality and fertility rate. So i will see TCM Dr next week for a course of acupuncture treatment. Have some hope now rather than just sit and wait for another poor responding cycle

Baziberry: I think that's a great idea! The one time I had a grade1 embryo, I had done acupuncture through the treatments. It did not improve quantity but it did improve quality!
