Hi there! I'm looking at fet #2 in early feb as well! I've got 5 frosties left. Just did my first ever transfer that was also frozen because they did a freeze all. Bfn so making a plan and Feb looks like it'll be a go although dates still tentative.

I'll just say hi now, though I'm not ready to start thinking about it too much yet.....

Tentatively, I'm transferring my last 2 chances, FET #3, in February.  For now I'm just focussing on eating well, exercising and I've been trying acupuncture for the first time in my life.  No clue if it will help, but it's very relaxing so I'll continue.

I'll come back around when I'm ready to mentally focus on that.  For now, Xmas, holidays, fun and friends!

I am hoping to transfer in February. I was just offered a cycle this month but had to turn it down due to an upcoming vacation. They said I would likely be offered one again in January, which would result in a late February transfer, if my cycles remain as they have been. It's been 6 years since I was on suprefact... Does anyone know what kinds of side effects I can expect? I don't remember much of anything last time but I know drugs for FET's are much less than a regular IVF so suprefact alone shouldn't be too bad? I'm hoping!
I'm excited and nervous, to get the cycle going!

I've used Suprefact as a spray and injectable. With the spray I had bad headaches. With both I had insomnia like symptoms and night sweats. I'm sure there's more that I don't recall right now.

In addition to Suprefact, I've had to take low dose aspirin, Estrace and prometrium. As well, antibiotics near the transfer.

I'm here, too! My FET is tentatively scheduled for February 27, if all goes according to plan. Excited and nervous, all rolled into one. We did CCS testing for the very first time, and have 2 genetically normal day 6 blastocysts to transfer, both graded 5BB. We're keeping our fingers tightly crossed that this is finally our lucky cycle after many failed ones.

Can anyone help me with timing for FET - I will be doing lupron supression a week before next expected period followed by 21 days of estrace (after my period starts?) and then prometrium (?) injections.

I call in CD1 this month to get the ball rolling on booking the supression shot.

I am wondering about the finer details - does estrace normally start after the period?  I would imagine it does.

I'm thinking with a 30-35 day cycle this could even push me to a March transfer.

Additionally - when did clinics have you pay your fees - at CD1 of the first precycle month or CD1 of the transfer cycle?  I imagine it's CD1 of the first one not the transfer cycle...

Hey Ladies!

Ugh, I'm back for my third and final FET :)  I have two 6-day blasts on ice, here's to hoping they survive the thaw.  My transfer (if things go according to plan) is set for the week of Feb 2.  I just paid for my cycle, excited and terrified.  Last two cycles, I got pregnant but miscarried both times.  Really hoping for one that will stick for 9 months or a bfn.

Beachlover: Sad to see you here, soooo crappy that we both ended up pregnant but it didn't work out.  Hope this cycle is successful! Big hugs.

Soon:  My clinic uses superfect, sorry I'm not sure the timeline using a different drug.

To all the other ladies, thanks for joining the group.  It makes a big difference when you have support :)

Hi Cynthia,

I am with Dr. Virro, but Dr. Garcia was the one who did my egg retrieval. I feel more relaxed when I know that Dr. Virro is the one reviewing my cycle monitoring, this was one of the reasons to wait for February. Have you done FET at MFC before?

Hey ladies, mind if I join? I'm thinking we will be doing a FET in February sometime. This will be my third FET, my first was a BFP (which ended in a miscarriage), and my second was a BFN. We still have 16 frozen embryos left, and we are considering doing CCS on them. Our meeting with the genetics counsellor is on the 2nd! Right now, I'm on BCP and synarel.

Here we are again Lainey! Hopefully this cycle works our for both of us :) Are there any changes to your protocol this time around?

Best of luck ladies, and Happy New Year! Here's to a fertile 2015!

Welcome to all the new ladies!  Great to have more people join the group :)

Has anybody started Superfect yet?  Today, I started sniffing and have a headache on and off.  I've taken it before, but didn't have symptoms.

Also, a sad moment I'm not proud of... I actually did a hpt, just in the very, very, very slim chance it was positive.  Gawd, I don't know why I torture myself :P

Have everyone is enjoying the holiday!

Loo.. I start suprefact in 2 weeks. I inject it. In past I've had a few headaches, insomnia, and hot flashes. I've taken it so many times I've lost count...but nothing too bad for side effects. I understand taking a hpt..nothing wrong with that. I might have done the same if I had a possibility (I have no tubes and no guy). I used to always hope the cycle before a FET.

Hi Everyone! Hoping to keep up now that the craziness of Christmas is over!!!

Wil do a couple personals that had specific questions - welcome to everyone else! Happy 2015 - here is to healthy, new year with some October/November babies - sticky dust - pray pray pray xo

Meary - have you ever tried Laser Acupuncture? I did it prior to my cycle I got pregnant with DS and my one session of Laser was more relaxing than the 6 months of traditional I did.

Its crazy seeing everyone's different protocols- I am only on BC - on my second last day of BC - I go for a US to check for cysts etc - last day of BC I take one injection of Lupron - wait for my period - and then start estrace for approx 3 weeks - 7 days prior to transfer I begin the vaginal tic tacs - and continue those - along with estrace for the PUPO - if successful I continue both through to week 12 -
I am personally already on preg-vit (prescription prenatals) and I am taking Omega3, COQ10 - I did baby aspirin my first cycle- and only take it when I remember now for this FET and same with my first FET - I only took it when I remembered.
I pay my clinic when I arrive - the whole amount.

Hey Ladies!

Ugh, I'm back for my third and final FET smile.png  I have two 6-day blasts on ice, here's to hoping they survive the thaw.  My transfer (if things go according to plan) is set for the week of Feb 2.  I just paid for my cycle, excited and terrified.  Last two cycles, I got pregnant but miscarried both times.  Really hoping for one that will stick for 9 months or a bfn.

Thanks Beachlover, weird that there are so many protocols sometimes, to me, but we all have so many issues, and it reminds us that SOME of this is kind of just guessing, in places.

I'm still waiting for my AF to arrive, after IVF/Freeze all cycle.  I had a bleed for a few days a week after egg retrieval but I'm now waiting for my "real" cycle to start.  What if that was IT!!! ? "_

I will be doing a FET in mid-February, tentatively February 13.

We did PGS testing and will likely transfer both normal embryos.

Ok, glad I'm not the only one who is getting these synarel headaches! It's been absolutely brutal!! I've had an ongoing headache for about 3 days now :( and I've only been taking it for about a week! I took it during my first FET and didn't seem to have symptoms like this. I guess I'd better stock up on Tylenol.....

How is everyone doing?? :)

Hi Ladies - thought I might join you :)  I actually 'cycled' with some of you in 2014, but for some reason just didn't feel like posting.  We did our first fet in June - bfn (uterus was contracting so I wasn't surprised).  Second fet was in Sept - bfp, but I knew something wasn't right as my pee sticks weren't getting any darker - chemical.

I wanted to go again right away, but with the holiday we were pushed into this year.  We had a great WTF appointment with our RE though and I feel really good about this fet.  When we did IVF, the first two rounds that we did (and were both cancelled) started with birth control.  We dropped the bc and finally were able to do a full IVF which gave us our daughter.  The first two FETs started with bc, this round we're doing a natural fet....so no bc.  For my other two fet's, my lining never got terribly thick.  I honestly think I must have topped out at about a 7 as the second fet was extended a week on drugs to try and get me over the 6.5 that just wouldn't get any thicker.  When I had my daughter I hit a 10, so it is possible....fingers crossed.  The clinic is also offering a new ultrasound technique.  Apparently if you score 7.5 or higher there is an 80% chance of pregnancy?!?!...and if you don't, cycle is cancelled. Will be interesting to see what my lining scores.

We're using our last two frosties for this fet....DH is terrified of twins, but the RE recommended transferring both...first time he's ever suggested two to us.  Yikes!  My best guess is that we'll be transferring around Valentine's day :)

Good luck ladies.  Looking forward to getting to know all of you :)
