Can having a systemic infection and its treatment of high dose antibiotic pills (i beleive it was 12 pills a day for 10 days) affect sperm quality temperarily or permantly?

Not sure entirely what you mean by high dose of antibiotics, but in my protocol, DH and I both have to take antibiotics for 6 days (1 pill 2x a day). So if drs are prescribing this, (as prevention for illness) I guess it must not affect results?

My husband was on this for a systemic infection about 18 months ago, we are just wondering if the infection/few days of fever or high dose antibiotics contributed to his now MFI
