We have a box that includes peanut butter cups. I'm pretty sure once those go we won't be picking at the box as often.

Finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

See "About Me" for details.

I haven't weighed myself but my big pants are feeling loose...dared to try on the regular size pants...too tight...but they did up.  Inching towards victory.

It was long, awful & hard. We got very lucky and didn't run out of both emotional and financial resources. We saw some of the most beautiful of people in our lowest moments. Baby Girl arrived Apr 10/2018

You put them back. That's not self sabotage that's willpower.

Welcome to the group rollergirl!

I haven't posted a recipe in some time. I will find a good one and share it tomorrow.

Here is a pork recipe. It goes well with stir fried snow peas, carrots, and red peppers. It is 5 weight watchers points plus, so approximately 250 calories. I usually have it with some brown rice.

Wasabi Ginger Pork Chops
Serves 4

1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
1 large egg white, beaten
4 boneless centre cut pork chops (those palm size chops with the layer of white fat along on side, trim the fat)
1 tbsp vegetable oil
salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp grated ginger
1/3 cup chicken broth
2 tbsp dry sherry
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp sugar
2 tsp wasabi paste
1/3 cup chopped green onions

Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper. Dip one side of pork chops in egg whites and then press firmly into panko.

Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium high heat. Fry pork chops, starting with breaded side down, 3-4 minutes per side. Transfer to plate, breaded side up, and cover loosely with foil.

Reduce heat to medium. Add ginger to pan and cook, stirring, for approximately 30 seconds. Add broth, sherry, soy sauce, sugar, and wasabi paste. Bring to a boil and reduce slightly. Stir in green onions and serve over pork chops.

Sounds great crazy!

Congrats on losing 5lbs chg!

Well I decided to switch it up a bit. I dusted off my weights and did a strength training work out today. Ouch! Hoping this will help get over my plateau. I don't want to get too crazy to mess with cycling.

How's everyone doing? I've actually kept with the weightlifting 2-3 x a week. My pants and uniforms fit better but my weight has stayed the same. A win in my books ... Must be all my new muscle 😂 ( if you knew what I looked like you'd laugh... Out loud 😉).

So I think I did ok with diet and exercise on my ivf vacation. We got to Cancun on a Monday evening but we didn't do much but sleep the next day. On wed/thurs/fri/sat - I did 1/2 of cardio and 1/2 hr of weight training each of these days. Sunday was embryo transfer so I did nothing this day. Mon/tues I did 25 minutes of stretching, wed/thurs - 25 minutes of stretching + plus 10 minutes of elliptical. Fri/sat - 25 minutes of stretching and 20 minutes elliptical. We got back home Sunday afternoon.

Each day I had green juice, green smoothly, omelet for breakfast, salad for lunch, and different dinners each night. My downfall was desert everyday :( it was so hard to resist! As well I had nachos everyday too :(

It was easy to eat well as there was no excuse not too - so many salads available in the buffet. But it was just as easy to eat crappy too - so many deserts and junk food looking at me and calling "eat me, eat me" lol.

Is this still active? If so I could really use some motivation to get in better shape! If it's not, can we reactivate?

With one cycle and an additional month on hormones, I'm a few pounds down, so I'll put that in the win category. Been feeling down lately so comfort eating.

Hi Bug! Sorry to hear your last cycle really got you with a double punch but I hope that your next cycle is a BFP annnnnd you're able to shed those lbs.

lovemydogs - I hear you on the comfort eating but way to go with being a few pounds down!

I've been down with the flu for a few days and I'm sure the scale would show a loss but all water weight. Sigh.

I'm trying to improve my egg quality in hopes of another IVF cycle. This requires me to cut down on carbs and refined sugars, add more plant seeds and change my diet. While I'm trying hard to figure it all out, I find I love my sweets and pasta. Having a group of folks to support me along this journey would be fantastic!! I'm in Bug88!
