Sorry, I meant to group all my LIT questions into one post.

I heard from my clinic that if the LIT procedure doesn't increase the LAD numbers, hubby's blood will need to be supplemented with donor's blood.  This might be a dumb question (this flu must be getting to me!) - Can the donor's blood be his mom's blood?  He and his mom have the same blood type.

Thank You

It doesn't matter whose blood it is and doesn't need to be the same blood type and it doesn't hurt that it is. Most people respond to LIT. I know one person here that didn't respond and used donor blood. The only requirement for donor blood -as far as I know- is that the person is tested recently for infectious diseases or comes to clinic for testing. Don't worry about not responding. I was worried too but my LAD went above 80% after two doses and so far has stayed up.

Diagnosis: Repeated Pregnancy Loss + DOR + Advance maternal Age.

So far no luck with IVF attempts. Hope things take a turn soon.

Hi My_time,

Thank you for your reply, that's great to know that anyone can be the donor to LIT.

What about IVIg - can that be from family as well? (i.e. his parents or even my siblings/parents)?

Thanks again and all the best to you!! :)
