Monitoring cycle Sept 2012?ovulation issues and low motility (25%), count and morphology great Clomid 50mg X 5 days and timed intercourse Oct 2012, 5 mature follicles BFN.
1st IUI November 2012Femera 2.5mg X 5 days, 1 good follicle, thanks to vitamins hubby's count AMAZING and motility great, BFN.
2nd IUI December 2012Femera 5mg X 5 days, 1 good follicle, triggered, BFN.
3rd IUI January 2012Femera 5mg X 5 Puregon x 3-4 days, 3 good follicles, BFN
1st IVF cycleSuprefact started 0.2mg injections Mar 12/13Awaiting AF, have never been so excited for period to come, can't wait to get started on Puregon
Mar 30th - AF finally arrived 8 days late, start stimming in 2 daysApr 1 - cd 3 US, ? 4 follicles each ovary, nurse surprised since I usually have 8-10 each side, thinks it may just be the temp u/s tech, called in afternoon estrogen too high (1345) to start stims need to continue on suprefact for a few more days.
Recheck 4 days later estrogen down (120) but have 3 cysts, largest on right ~3cm<
Decided to wait for a more "normal" cycle, hopefully get started again on Suprefact end of May and ER in June.

I am thread crashing. I start my superfact on March26th. This is fresh cycle # 2 for me. I never ever thought I would be doing this again but I guess a few months can clear your head and make you say yes dear husband I will try again!!

Catching up girls, I'll do personals later as I get a bit more 'in the loop'.
My protocol is antagonist too, but not patches, estrace instead. With gonal and repronex, also trying growth hormone (yikes!). Add in cetrotide at the end. I've done gonal before, not repronex. Is cetrotide injected?
Day 1 was today, and although I'm excited, I'm a bit sad too. This is it, the last IVF for us. We haven't discussed what's next or plan b...gawd I hope this works!

Wow! April is a big month for IVF already! Really looking forward to reading your stories!
Starting IVF #2 March 28! Right now I'm priming with a variety of hormones (have been for about a month). Feeling pretty positive, IVF is so much more tolerable once you understand what to expect. Anyone here starting their first IVF? I remember having so many questions, it really was a nerve-wracking time!

Luckyduck we're starting at the exact same time! I had my LH surge on Mar 10th & start patches on the 20th & cetrotide the 21st!
Just had scheduling visit on monday & picked up all my meds since I'll be monitored in Kingston. Thank goodness I had my husband with me for the scheduling visit, I was like a bumbling idiot! I was nervous and it made me act a bit flighty & my memory was like a seive! I told the nurse my husband was the brains of the operation & he'd remember everything..how embarassing. Oh well, the nurse was nice & patient.
Went for acupuncture yesterday, which as usual put me in a great state of relaxation. I'm staying positive & getting excited to get the cycle started.

i finally finished reading all the posts in here, took me a while lol.
my name is Phokham( thai) from Brampton Ontario. i am still trying to understand this whole ivf deal, so much to learn and so many
short form i do not really understand what it stand for but im sure over time i will :-)
so right now im just waiting for my period to show so i can start the process, what ever that really means,
i did two iui two years ago and now really for first round of ivf. if things goes well i will do the egg retrival thing in april and will implant
it back in may. as u can see my terms is not correct right. plz forgive me. i am so new in here. oh anyone with New Life clinic?

Problem with: Endometris Cysts and Retrograde Menstration.
March 2013=Monitoring period for 1st IVF.
April 13 started SupreFact injection every morning.
April 17 AF Arrived.
April 23: Cycle day 3-started Puregon injection at 300.
L=9 follicles R=7 follicles, with small cysts and liquid in cavity cervix.
April 26 cycle day 6=RS:2@1.2 & 1@1. LS=3@1.2, 1@1.1 and 1@1.0 total of 8 follicle. Lining @ 7.1.
April 29 Cycle Day 9= R: 2.1, 1.7, 1.5, 1.4, 1.3, 1.1. Left: 2.3, 2.2, 2.1 & 4@1.4. Lining is 8.6. No cysts.
April 30 cycle day 10=R:2@2.1, 1.8, 2@1.3, 2@1.2 L:2.4, 2.3, 2.1, 1.8, 1.7. Lining= 9.4.
May 1 cycle day 11=R=2.2, 2@ 2.0, 3@1.4, 2@1.3 on my L=2@2.4, 2.2, 2@1.7 and 1.5. Lining dropped to 8.7.
Trigger tonight May 1 at midnight.
May 3 ER went well got 13 follicles!!!!!
From 13 we are down to 6 but 5 mature.
Final number of frosties is 4!!! will be doing FET.
May 13 AF showed up early!!!! new journey begin!!!
May 21 B/W U/S CY day 5 Lining at 3.3- Start taking Estrace.
May 22 B/W U/S booked as Cy day 10 Lining went up to 6.5 only.
May 29 Lining up from 6.5 to 7. Now taking 6 Estrace a day.
Sunday June 2. Lining is at 7.8 start with patches now & con't on with 6 Estrace.
Wed June 5th lining at 8.4 but not good enough. Now also on Viagra Vaginally. Dr want
lining at 10mm before FET. GRRRRRR Running out of patient
Monday June 10 lining went up to 9mm with abdominal pain very very painful.
JUNE 17 at 9am FET Transfer 1 only !!!
BETA MONDAY JUNE 24===BFN. End of my IVF journey.

I am with New Life Fertility clinic, waiting for period to show up end of next week to start puregon to start growing many good eggies.
4 days of Suprefact under my belt, its not too bad doing daily injections.
Monitoring cycle Sept 2012?ovulation issues and low motility (25%), count and morphology great Clomid 50mg X 5 days and timed intercourse Oct 2012, 5 mature follicles BFN.
1st IUI November 2012Femera 2.5mg X 5 days, 1 good follicle, thanks to vitamins hubby's count AMAZING and motility great, BFN.
2nd IUI December 2012Femera 5mg X 5 days, 1 good follicle, triggered, BFN.
3rd IUI January 2012Femera 5mg X 5 Puregon x 3-4 days, 3 good follicles, BFN
1st IVF cycleSuprefact started 0.2mg injections Mar 12/13Awaiting AF, have never been so excited for period to come, can't wait to get started on Puregon
Mar 30th - AF finally arrived 8 days late, start stimming in 2 daysApr 1 - cd 3 US, ? 4 follicles each ovary, nurse surprised since I usually have 8-10 each side, thinks it may just be the temp u/s tech, called in afternoon estrogen too high (1345) to start stims need to continue on suprefact for a few more days.

Hi. I am doing an FET in April. Pretty nervous. My fresh tranfer didnt work and I'm worried this one won't either. I have started acupuncture and cut out spicy food and trying to relax!

Anyone know why some drs choose suprefact injections and others the nasal spray? Spraying 5times a day is a pain in the butt when u have a busy full time job

Hi If at first. Yes, I have my tubes still. The first one was "ectopic" because my Hcg levels were rising but there was no embryo in my uterus. I was almost 6 weeks. I decided not to have surgery to find out where it was because to me it didnt matter at that point. The 2nd one was in my left tube. They said if it happened one more time in that one, it was gone. Nothing has happened since so our FET is the next. We decided that once the 11 are either implanted or arrested that that is it....no more....either it works or we try naturally again and if nothing, we just travel with no chance of kids. I am SO lucky that I have an amazing man throughout this but it is scary. I am glad that I found this forum to at least talk about all the scary things that we all are facing. It is a miracle every date that any one of us gets pregnant and carries to term. We all should be lucky when it happens.....just not yet for us.....

I am so glad you have a strong relationship to help make this journey easier. I think that infertility either brings us so much closer together, or can tear couples apart. I am so thankful for my husband too.

Hello to all the new ladies!!!! I had my bloodwork and ultrasound on Friday. Everything is a go for starting the lupron injections on Monday. Trying to enjoy my weekend of no extra hormones!!! I had 26 follicles on the right and 18 on the left. I hope they are good quality!!!!
So glad we are all going through this together

This month it is a go
I started BCP last week. I will start Suprefact on March 27th and then start stims on April 9th. My nurse is guessing that ER will be around April 16th!!!

July/12-Nov/12 - Taking a break from the clinic and working with a Naturopath. No Luck.

IVF cycle in Feb 2013- Cancelled due to a 6.5cm cyst
March 2013 - IVF is a go!
March 14th - Start BCP
March 27th - Start Suprefact injections
March 29th - Last BCP (come on AF!!!)
April 4th - Start Stimming (125IU of Puregon and microdoseHCG)
April 14th- Egg Retrieval! Left ovary gave us a hard time but in the end we got 14 eggs!
April 15th- 12 of the 14 Eggs were mature and injected via ICSI. Of those 12, 11 fertilized
April 19th - Transferred 1 Perfect Embryo (Stick Baby Stick).Have 6 frozen embryos/ 4 havent went to blast stage yet.
April 20 - 3/4 embryos caught up and went to blast. Giving us 9 frosties for the future
IVF #1= BFP!
Healthy Baby Girl born VIA ER C-section Dec 2013!

March 04: HB 115. Problem: Sac is small... repeat u/s next week
March 14: U/S , HB (abdominal) 167bpm (internal) 158bpm. Problem: Sac still small, reapeat u/s in 10 days..
March 24: U/S confirmed no HB.. stop progesterone. M/C that same evening

Hi all - great to read all the stories of us gearing up for April!
I started my nasal spray this morning to hold off O. Another week of bcp and then wait for my period to start my stims.
I'm a bit sad as for years now I've kept thinking "one more month and we'll just do this on our own" so I'm struggling with giving over to the IVF process, if that makes sense. But deep down I'm excited. And freaked.
Anyhoo, depending on when my period arrives - I think we're on track for second week of April for ER/ET.

Spring/Summer 2012 four rounds of IUI (natural cycle) - nada
March/April 2013 ICSI
14 eggs, 12 mature and ICSI'd, Day 5 - Transferred in 2 blasts graded 2BB. Froze one blast.
5dp5dt - started getting OHSS without knowing that was what it was
7dp5dt - Bad shape. Downside: body is totally f'ed up. Upside: beta 40. Ended in M/c.
Aug/Sept 2013 - FET *fingers crossed for our one frozen*
Unmedicated FET Aug. Bloodwork to watch for LH surge.
Aug 26th - Surge detected
ET one awesome embryo on Aug 31st
A gaggle of positive HPTs Sept 5-9th
Sept 10 (10dp5dt) - beta 36 (yay?)
Sept 12 - Beta 98! 34hr doubling!
Sept 16 (afternoon) Beta 678 and 37hr doubling.
Sept 18 (afternoon) Beta 1367. No more blood tests!
Sept 25 - inconclusive ultrasound. Sac measuring 3 days behind (should be 6w2d). Told to prepare myself...
Sept 30 - U/s still inconclusive. Hey, this is really fun! I feel like my brain is going to explode.
Oct 7 - RE has diagnosed this as non-viable. Two sacs, one is at 5w one is at 7w. No fetal poles. No h/b. Waiting to m/c.

Nerdy, I expect ER the second week of April too!!! I just did my first lupron shot this morning for down regulation.

I start BCP today (my first IVF) and expect ER to be sometime in late April. Not sure how I will get through this, but I hope with your help it will be a bit easier

Bigger success with number two. 2 embies put back 3 frozen. I guess not caring and not fixating on different changes worked. lived my life as normal and 5 wonderful embryos made.
Twins!!!! Even better success this time as both made it to term. 38.5 weeks two beautiful little girls were born Jan 5/14

1st IUI November 2012Femera 2.5mg X 5 days, 1 good follicle, thanks to vitamins hubby's count AMAZING and motility great, BFN.
2nd IUI December 2012Femera 5mg X 5 days, 1 good follicle, triggered, BFN.
3rd IUI January 2012Femera 5mg X 5 Puregon x 3-4 days, 3 good follicles, BFN
1st IVF cycleSuprefact started 0.2mg injections Mar 12/13Awaiting AF, have never been so excited for period to come, can't wait to get started on Puregon
Mar 30th - AF finally arrived 8 days late, start stimming in 2 daysApr 1 - cd 3 US, ? 4 follicles each ovary, nurse surprised since I usually have 8-10 each side, thinks it may just be the temp u/s tech, called in afternoon estrogen too high (1345) to start stims need to continue on suprefact for a few more days.
Recheck 4 days later estrogen down (120) but have 3 cysts, largest on right ~3cm<
Decided to wait for a more "normal" cycle, hopefully get started again on Suprefact end of May and ER in June.
2nd run at 1st IVFMay 24 - start suprefact 0.2ml and minovral, minovral only for 1 week
June 4 - AF 2 days late, took preg test CRAZY!!!!!!!! Beta 35
June 5 - beta 46.58 (14 hours since first one drawn) progesterone 19.32
June 7 - beta 113.6 progesterone holding at 19.2
June 10 - beta 271.3 progest 10.99 (concerned)
June 12 - progest 3.9 beta 191 looks like m going to miscarry.
June 15 - progest ~3 something, beta 260 wtf?
June 21 - progest 5.02 beta 649.8 wtf
June 26 - Ultrasound and bloodwork, confirmed left tubal pregnancy....frig
May 20, 2014 - 4th IUI, 2 good follicles on right side (good side 1.7, 2.1), and hubbies total motile count 56.5 million, beta June 3rd. BFN.
1st IVFJuly 5 - antral follicle count 17, 183u puregon and micro dose hcg started.July 8th - check after 3 days of stims 5 follicles, 3 on right all 1cm, 2 on left 1.1cm and 1 cm, E2 816, lining 10mm, starting orgalutran tomorrow morning and recheck again on Thursday.
July 10th - check after 5 days of stims, 11 follicles 3 x 13mm, 3 x 12mm, 2 x 11mm, 3 x 10mm and 2 x 8mm that they aren't counting yet, lining 16mm, E2 2373.
July 12 - follicles 2 x 1.8, 2 x 1.6, 3 x 1.5, 2 x 1.4, 1 x 1.2, 3 x 1.1, 1 x 1.0, 1 x 0.8. E2 4528. Puregon increased back up to 183.
July 13 - follicles 1 x 2.0, 1 x1.9, 2 x 1.8, 2 x 1.7, 1 x 1.6, 1 x 1.5, 2 x 1.4, 1 x 1.3, 2 x 1.2, 2 x 1.1, 1 x 1.0, 1 x 0.9, E2 6407, trigger likely tomorrow with ER on July 16th.
July 14 - follicles 1 x 21mm, 2 x 20mm, 2 x 19mm, 2 x 18mm, 2 x 17mm, 1 x 16mm, 1 x 15mm, 1 x 14mm, 2 x 13mm, 2 x 12mm, 1 x 10mm. trigger tonight at 9pm retreival July 16th at 9am.
July 16th - 8 retrieved.
July 21st - 1 day 5 blast grade 4ab transferred, 5 more frozen the following day (1 x 4aa, 2 x 4bb,1 x 3bb, 1x 3cc)
