My dr. is not worried but is sending me for an ultrasound tomorrow for my peace of mind (or so she says).

Hi Ladies! I'm jumping in too! My EDD is October 22nd.

Like you all, I'm so nervous - and yes Gracegirl - I check my boobs every day to make sure they're still sore! I've been extra tired and going to bed really early the last week too.

I had an ectopic about a year or so ago, so my mind won't settle until I see the ultrasound. My beta isn't exactly doubling (14dp3dt=242 and 18dp3dt=827), but it is still up there. I go for more bw on Thursday and they'll do an ultrasound too. I'm excited, and totally scared at the same time.

I wish you all a happy and healthy 9ish months!

Welcome SunflowerGirl!! I think we have the same due date! YAY!

update: blood work came back great (up to 7940 at 21dpiui--more than doubling). My clinic just called and said I am welcome to come in for an ultrasound whenever...so, Thursday it is! Thank god...I LOVE my clinic! :) Don't know how much we will be able to see (it will be 5weeks 2 days) but at least it might put my mind at rest!

I wouldn't worry too much about that Sunflower! All women are so different...I had a friend whose numbers were around 12,000 at this time...she thought she was having twins. Nope, just high numbers.

Good luck tomorrow! I'll be thinking of you! :)

Welcome Sunflower and good luck tomorrow Gracegirl.

I had my second u/s today.  All was well with a normal heartrate.  I go once again next week and then, assuming all goes well, that should be it until my NT scan.

I have good news to report! Gestational sac found in my uterus! Nothing found elsewhere (for now)!

No yolk sac yet, but it is very early. The dr on duty was very optimistic. Apparenlty the outside of the sac had a 'glow' that usually equates to a yolk sac.

Dr also felt that my beta numbers over 4 days were still within targets, so not to worry about it. I'm still waiting to hear what today's beta is, results weren't ready before we left - even though we were there for over 2 hours (another story altogether).

So I am in good spirits now!

He understood my wariness over ectopic and has set me up for another u/s next Tuesday.

YAY!!! banana.gif (this little banana is my favourite!)

OK - gracegirl, you're up! BTW, we must be in different time zones, based on your last post. I'm in Ottawa (EST) :) I have my fingers crossed for you!

Yup, different time zones...I'm in Victoria, BC.

Good news for me too!! One little bean measuring right on track...and in my uterus!! Wooohooo! Everything looks really good! yahoo.gif

But, no workingout, running or other high impact activities until this spotting stops! My doc said spotting is really common and probably due to the sac burrowing into the uterus.

I'm so releaved. Due date....Oct 23rd! Next ultrasound in 11 days to see the heartbeat.

Loew21 - Welcome!  I didn't have symptoms (other than some bizarre cramps that felt like a pulled hip on one side) until about 5 weeks. Then I got dizzy spells with sore boobs and then in week 6 I got nauseous (and started taking dicletctin, which is amazing).

I am also continuing with accupuncture while pregnant.  My accupuncturist changed the points but I still go.  I will go once a week until I am 14 weeks, an appt at week 20 and appt at week 28.

Hi Ladies:  I'm thread crashing but will be here full time soon.  My baby's due on October 13th.  They heard a heart beat today at 116 bpm and I saw the heartbeat on the monitor.  I'm not fully in this thread b/c my Doctors have gotten me paranoid.  I'm still being monitored heavily and I'm having ultrasounds frequently.  Thankfully, an ectopic pregnancy has been ruled out.  They're still in prepare for the worst mode.  I don't know if that's the MO of the Clinic but it freaks me out every time I go there.

Someone asked about morning sickness.  I heard that sometimes it doesn't start for some people until Week 7 and a friend confirmed it last night (that would be in 3 days for me)!  I have a strong sniffer so smells really get to me which can make me feel nauseous.

Bloating - Definitely!  I wear sweat pants all of the time.  I have a belly and did not before.  I'm not sure if the bloating's caused by the IVF meds or a combination of everything and pregnancy!.

In terms of peeing, I have to pee often!  I heard that it's a side effect of the progesterone and also of pregnancy.  The worst is when I have to have a full bladder for my ultrasounds.  I have had 3-4 in the last 2 weeks and I almost had an accident.  It's torture for my bladder and then driving myself to the Clinic is torture.  The 20 minutes feels like 2 hours.

Hello to BTR, Stillness, and kadie_lee from my other thread!

Welcome Loew and TTCAD!

Loew: yes, I am continuing with acupuncture. My clinic specializes in pregnancy and fertility. Right now, my treatments are geared towards stopping the spotting (which seems to be working) and the cramping. The aim is to bring nutrients into the uterus for development. I LOVE it and my specialist recommended I keep up with it.

As for symptoms...I was told the same thing about morning sickness--it usually shows around 6 or 7 weeks...but some women don't get it at all. I've just been really tired...like fall on my face tired. My back has also been really sore, but that's linked to the cramping.

Hello to everyone else!!

Enjoy your weekends ladies!

Welcome Kadie-lee, Loew and TTCAD.

Loew - I have not continued acupuncture, but I miss it so I may try to get back for few sessions.

TTCAD - I had severe bloating with my fresh cycle from all the meds.  When I went for my 13 week ultrasound the tech asked if I had done fertility treatment and said he could tell because my ovaries were still swollen.

I've still had no symptoms, other than a bit of tiredness but that drop-dead exhaustion hasn't set in yet.  I've had a few twinges on the right hand side of my uterus - not sure what that is?  I don't recall having twinges with my previous pregnancy.  Of course I worry that it means it's ectopic.  Even though I've no basis for that.  I'm five weeks today and just waiting for my ultrasound to make sure everything looks ok!

Welcome everyone! I love how our group keeps growing and growing (as we grow and grow in size).

My ultrasound is in 4 days and I am going stir crazy. This has been a very tough three weeks as I keep doing checks on my boobs, my underwear and my nausea to make sure I'm still pregnant. I feel crazy. I keep asking my husband to look at my boobs to see if my nipples look bigger or darker and if my boobs look bigger. This morning he said no, and I started to cry saying that maybe I lost the baby. I'm hormone crazy!

I started taking diclectin for my nausea. It had helped a ton! I only take 2 at night and deal with the small bouts of nausea during the day. I find it mildly tolerable, so not worth drugging myself all day and falling over my feet with exhaustion.

Other than GraceM, anyone else on diclectin? Do you find it helps?

Also - I don't remember if I posted here about my yeast infection but I was going totally crazy. Turns out that I may have at one point had a yeast infection, but it was the prometrium suppositories making me so itchy. I got the go-ahead by my RE to take the tablets orally and I'm not itchy at all! I actually feel like a normal human being and am not walking around trying to tear out my privates!

Hope everyone is having a happy Friday and enjoying the pregnancy symptoms!

Hi everyone,

i am hoping to join you. I had my 7 week ultrasound on Thursday so I'm ready to  move on to a due date thread.  Was too scared to join before the u/s.

Glad to see so many of us from our cycle buddies thread have made it on to this thread.

I'm 7w3d and my due date is Oct 9th, right before my birthday.  This will be the best birthday gift ever!

BTR - sorry you've had such bad morning sickness. I've been okay. My stomach feels off but that is it.  I was very worried about this until Thursday but now since the baby is healthy I'll just hope I am one of the lucky ones that don't spend the whole time puking. My sister had terrible sickness right until week 17.  So I thought I was going to be doomed.
