Congrats BTR.  It would be so exciting if they shared a birthday but it sounds like it will be a happy month in your house in any event.

I am also due in October (the 9th).  My second beta is tomorrow and, assuming it all goes well (fingers crossed), my ultrasound is the 13th.  My first beta was low but i am hopeful I will stick around on this thread!

I am nervous. It's just to check positioning (i.e. make sure its not ectopic).  Hopefully it goes well. I have some cramping (but no real pain) and had a low beta to start so its' just precautionary.

Congrats Twinkle Toes!

How do I get through this 3 week wait until my ultrasound? My ultrasound is booked for February 26th and while I feel confident that I deserve this and everything will be fine, I can't help but be worried of the 'what if it's not ok?'

What can I do to assure myself it's going fine?

Welcome Twinkle Toes - Congrats!

BTR - I think we all get worried.  The odds are on your side though - just remind yourself the thing you are at the greatest risk for is a healthy pregnancy.  I try to take it one day at a time and do what I can by eating rght, resting, drinking lots of water, minimizing caffeine and taking supplements etc...  I know its nerve wracking but February 26th will be here before you know it.

Hi

I am new to this thread. I am 15dp2dt of 3 embryos. It was a rough 2ww with a diagnostic laparoscopy and a full blown kidney infection!

Despite all this, I had my first beta yesterday and it was 254. I was concerned this is low so convinced my RE to test again either tomorrow (48 hours) or Saturday. I guess my due date would be in mid October! Hoping for a doubling beta tomorrow!

Congrats on your BFPs!!

About me:

TTC for 1 year.

1 fur baby named Penelope, the chocolate goldendoode.

Me: 38, DH: 35 with male factor infertility, only 5% motility (lazy beasts).

Hysterosalpingogram, FSH (5.3), AMH (1.86), Estradiol (<100), LH (2.0) all normal.

January 11, 2013: Stims started.  Menopur 75 and Bravelle 225.

Jan. 21 - ER 5 eggs retrieved, 3 fertilized.

Jan, 23 - ET of three 2day embryos. Grades 4B, 5B, and 4C.

THEN I get sick sick sick with a horrible kidney infection that gives me 9 days of pain and several trips to emerg, including a diagnostic laparascopic surgery. My hopes are dashed. IV pain meds and antibiotics given. I'm losing hope.

10dp2dt: Surprise! BFP th_abfp.gifon HPT.  7 more +HPTs after while waiting for beta.

1st Beta 254 at 14dp2dt.

2nd Beta at 629 16dp2dt (48 hours later).

3rd Beta: 3731 21dp2dt.

It's a great Valentines' Day!

First ultrasound -- it's TWINS! So happy!

Second ultrasound March 7...Unfortunately we will lose the little twin, but can be seen on ultrasound until 14 weeks.

I can't stop reading what you wrote, GraceM. It's truly giving me hope and getting me through this week. I still have another two weeks after this one is over but I know I'll make it through. I just want this pregnancy so badly!

Thanks for the welcome ladies!

Fortunately i haven't had any morning sickness hopefully never will! I feel for you ladies that do! I mean after all we/ve been through. But I am having horrible vivid dreams and peeing every 5 minutes!

My doc wants me to do weekly ultrasounds until my NT scan which is booked for March 19th! Is this normal? Seems so invasive!!!

I'm still way to early to have morning sickness (14dpiui tomorrow) but I have had a wicked upset stomach and....uh...have been running to the bathroom a lot (sorry if tmi!!). Apparently, that's a symptom for some women!

second beta tomorrow...

Congrats Gracegirl!  That is great.

I had my US today.  Measuring 6 weeks exactly, in the right spot (i.e. not ectopic) and there was a heartbeat.  We re very happy.  I go back in two weeks for another US and my referral to an OB was put in today. I know we are not out of the woods yet but I am hopeful things will work out.

GraceM - congrats on the great ultrasound. Lets hope for many more!

I'm still so nervous every time I pee. Worried that ill have started bleeding! Tmi I know! It's terrible especially bc I pee like every 30 minutes! Ahhhhh.

Dr saw a small blood clot on the ultrasound but said it was nothing to worry about. I'm currently taking progesterone suppositories, baby aspirin, pregvit prenatal vitamins and fragmin injections. If all goes well I can stop everything but the vitamins after 11 weeks.

Anyone else taking stuff too?
