Actually no. She married 7 men and was married 8 times. She was widowed once and married Richard Burton twice. I dunno, to keep going back speaks to a yearning and a belief in love, wouldn't you agree?

Divorces are pretty brutal and to keep going back, with hope, speaks to a woman who got knocked down and kept getting back up. She did it in her romantic life, her professional life, and with the health issues she faced.

Great topic Gibasgirl, thanks for starting this. Loving the quotes.
One of my faves is:
“Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”

I love this thread!! Especially love this one from above!
My Mom sent me an email with a list of 40 life lessons written by a 90 year old woman named Regina Brett from Ohio....very wise old lady I will say :) Here a few I read everyday.

1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.

3.Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
4. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer..
