So, I'm supposed to start my first clomid cycle later this month (hopefully) and was just wondering what kind of follow-ups I will be having with the OFC?

There was so much going through my mind at the time he wrote me the prescription, that I can't remember what they said. I know I'll find out when I call in on CD1, but I'm curious now. Is think there is an ultrasound, bloodwork and dr. apt? Do you know if you will be told any of your results mid-cycle?

We didn't do a lot of follow-up while on our six month Clomid cycle. I took the drug, we did the baby dance, we hoped each month, and that was it. I probably should have done ovulation tests to see if I was ovulating, but we didn't worry about it. After it didn't work, we did more bloodwork and stuff.

If you have questions for your doctor, call the clinic and see if you can make an appointment to get the answers. Or ask a nurse to find out for you. Every doctor has a different technique/plan.

We had follow up with our clomid cycles. Blood work to check my hormone levels and u/s to check how many follicles and determine timing for intercourse. Don't be shy, call up your RE and ask. That's their job. Good luck.
