Once you sign the consent forms the wait is 3 to 5 months. I took my file from my clinic (MFC) and went to see a doctor in OVO in January, he requested additional tests (AMH and blood), which I did and saw the doctor for a second time in mid-Feb. He assigned a protocol, we signed the documents and OVO coordinator called us to confirm that we will be cycling b/n May and July. I don't have high hopes for May, more likely it will be June or July...I think they take age into consideration. I am 34.

The waiting lists have decreased to almost 0 recently. I was on the waiting list for IVF for 1 week, for my FET it was only a couple of days. I doubt anyone ever waits more than a month anymore.

hmmm... I wonder why that is?  I didn't end up choosing OVO.  What is your experience like there?

I am pretty happy with my experience at Ovo! I do feel a bit like a number sometimes but my primary doctor is really great and I really appreciate how fast things move.

They say that the reason there is no more wait list is because they've increased their staff so they can do more cycles at once now.

hi Sourire, if you don't mind me asking, when were your embryos frozen - day 3 and waiting to grow to blast after thawing, or day 5? What was their quality? I heard that most Montreal clinics avoid freezing (they say due to a low quality of the embryos), but OVO does not have this problem. Is the lab better which allows them to grow better quality embryos or do they freeze all unused embryos?
