Hello all,

You know with all of the ups and downs in this process sometimes our troubles overshadow the good things we have going in our lives.

So, when you look around or close your eyes what are you thankful for?

It can be anything. Nothing is too big or small. You can post as often as you like.

List something you are thankful for.

Post as many things as you want. Post as often as you want.

Ok, I'll start:

I am thankful that most of the negative and hurtful people who used to be in my life are gone.

Great thread!

Going through all this IF stuff and all the ups and downs it brings puts a lot of pressure on a relationship, and in a crazy way, I'm thankful that DH and I have been through all this together at the beginning of our marriage because it makes us appreciate each other and the good stuff in our lives so much, and unlike many couples we know, we will never ever get upset about life's small problems or let them get between us.

I'm also very thankful for my wonderful dog who we would probably never have got if I'd become pregnant when we wanted to.

LOVE this thread! I think it is so important to remember what it is you have for which to be thankful.

I am thankful for a whole lot - for starters - not trying to cause any gagging here - this website - it has been a source of support, inspiration, friends, laughter and tons of information for quite some time now (it will also be the source of my downfall if I don't stop posting and start doing some work!). More later - have I mentioned I love this thread? Thankful to GG for starting it!

Great thread!

I am thankful that, no matter what, my husband accepts me for who I am.

I'm thankful that we are healthy, financially stable, and enjoy each other as much as we did when we met 11 years ago.

I'm thankful for the many friends I have who keep me sane and keep me laughing and enjoying the otherwise mundane, everyday things.

Sometimes (when I'm crazy Posted Image), I'm thankful that this IF stuff happened to us (SOMETIMES) - it makes me realize how much I do have and has really made me think of not taking what I have and those I have (like my doggie) for granted. It has made me look at the even smallest things so differently....

I am thankful for the realization that even though my cat-in-law is really cranky most of the time, we still really love him, and he still really loves us.
Good lesson to remember every single day and is of universal application.

I'm really thankful these days that both my parents are still around (and married to each other!) and DH's parents are still around, with two very generous & kind step-parents to boot. It is a tremendous blessing that they are all here, in good health and giving us such wonderful support. I know that I'm very lucky in this regard. I also have the bestest sister in the whole wide world - also very lucky to have a sibling that loves me for who I am and is there for me whenever I need her. Posted Image

SOOOO many things to be thankful for.

I am thankful for a warm, safe place to curl up at night.
I am thankful for plenty to eat and clean, safe drinking water.
I am thankful to live somewhere that I can freely express myself, free of the fear of persecution.
I am thankful for my wonderful parents and sibs.
I am thankful for my DH and his family.
I am thankful for our education system and medical system - things we often take for granted and complain about, but that in many countries in the world people would give anything to have.
I am thankful to have a healthy, happy, thriving daughter.

I am thankful that in many countries, the freedom of expression has been seen as important enough to be enshrined as a right.
In Canada, we should be thankful, and never take it for granted.

I am thankful for the friends I have found through this site.
And for the lessons learned.

I'm thankful for a DH who does everything for me that he can, including all injections, attending appts. where new information will be shared, and coming to cycle monitoring appts. with me on weekend days.

I'm thankful he loves me, is patient and kind, and never complains even though I am often moody, down, emotional, in battle with my own body and not really wanting to have sex like I used to! (Sorry if TMI)

I'm thankful for 2 healthy, snuggly and personable pets who have kept me company and warm.

I'm thankful for a job that I won't lose and that approved a medical leave of absence for me while I pursue treatment out-of-town.

I'm thankful for the medical staff at my clinic who run such an efficient, knowledgeable and caring practice. Who work hard to get back to us and support each step of our testing, monitoring and procedures. Yes, they get paid for what they do (as we all do) but it sure makes a difference to be skilled, great communicators and compassionate in a field like this and I always thank them so much for wanting to do what they do, and making this type of assistance possible for others.

I'm thankful for a line of credit and credit cards.
