Hi guys, I guess I'll be brief, but I'm really looking for advice. I don't know if anyone here is like me, but I was diagnosed with hypogonadism at 28 years old after 3 years of my wife and I trying. Our infertility was ruled completely male factor and the outlook didn't look good.

Our only hope was set on IVF with ICSI, and being that I felt really responsible, I summoned the strength to really try and provide during this difficult time.
Ours is a success story. We are expecting a beautiful baby girl in may. I hope that this can be an encouragement to those couple who get this difficult news.
Anyway thats my back story which takes us to the present.
During the uncertainty I felt strong enough to lead our family through this difficult time. I worked like crazy to provide through this, and essentially felt pretty ok.
Now with life calmed down and starting to move to a nice place in our lives I feel terrible. Nodrive, sex or otherwise, and I feel like I'm just not feeling much emotion at all. This is so frustrating with the realization that I'm about to become a father. I know my testosterone is low, any other men been here? Any advice?

Hi newguy,

I am sorry that no one has been around here lately to answer your question. Congrats on the impending arrival of your baby!

I can't give a man's perspective, but is there any chance you would be interested in going on the testosterone supplementation? Have you sat down with your doctor and weighed out the pros and cons? I would think that it is better to talk to your DR and then depending on how that conversation goes discuss the options with your wife after.

I wish you all the best,
