This is a part of a song (by Ben Folds) I heard it somewhere and it made me sad and angry about my IF/TTC journey.  Sorry, I cannot contribute anything that inspirational right now.

"You know what hope is?
Hope is a bastard
Hope is a liar
A cheat and a tease
Hope comes near you?
Kick it's backside
Got no place in days like these"

Who stole ambushed my stork?  So many failed cycles with nothing to show but bills, receipts, and empty bottles of medications/herbs/supplements. See my profile for details...

UPDATE: I'm counting the days and hours waiting for this miracle to unfold. Christina Perri's A Thousand Years pretty much sums up my experience.

Dolly Parton's "Light of a clear blue morning" is a beautiful song that I find inspirational and liberating.

This is cover version by The Wailin Jennys:

I am currently finding that Selena Gomez's  "The Heart wants what it wants" makes me think about IF

I Bet My Life - Imagine Dragons. I love Imagine Dragons....and I know it's a song to his parents...but it reminds me all the same.

It was long, awful & hard. We got very lucky and didn't run out of both emotional and financial resources. We saw some of the most beautiful of people in our lowest moments. Baby Girl arrived Apr 10/2018

Fight Song by Rachel Platten

Stand by You by Rachel Platten - I can picture myself saying these lyrics to my husband when he found out he has zero sperm.

"And hurt, I know you're hurting, but so am I

And, love, if your wings are broken
Borrow mine 'til yours can open, too
'Cause I'm gonna stand by you

Even if we're breaking down, we can find a way to break through
Even if we can't find heaven, I'll walk through Hell with you
Love, you're not alone, 'cause I'm gonna stand by you"

"Oh, truth—I guess truth is what you believe in

And faith—I think faith is having a reason"

A great success song to those who have been blessed with a boy would hands down be Celine Dion's "a new day"

I am an Air1 listener, I find lots of peace in the music. This song is the one I want to hear when I am feeling defeated and down.
"Trust In You" by LAUREN DAIGLE

Letting go of every single dream
I lay each one down at Your feet
Every moment of my wandering
Never changes what You see

Ive tried to win this war I confess
My hands are weary I need Your rest
Mighty Warrior, King of the fight
No matter what I face, Youre by my side

Chorus: When You dont move the mountains Im needing You to move
When You dont part the waters I wish I could walk through
When You dont give the answers as I cry out to You
I will trust, I will trust, I will trust in You!

Truth is, You know what tomorrow brings
Theres not a day ahead You have not seen
So, in all things be my life and breath
I want what You want Lord and nothing less

Chorus

You are my strength and comfort
You are my steady hand
You are my firm foundation; the rock on which I stand
Your ways are always higher
Your plans are always good
Theres not a place where Ill go, Youve not already stood

Chorus

When I first heard this song, it was on the finale of Criminal Minds. I think it's inspirational.

Journey On
by Elms District

You've only got one more river to cross
One more storm to go through
You've only got one more journey to walk
And know the waters wide
You've only got one more mountain to climb
One more hand to reach for
You've only got one more journey to walk
And you're on the other side

You've only got one more river to cross
One more storm to go through
You've only got one more journey to walk
And know the waters wide
You've only got one more mountain to climb
One more hand to reach for
You've only got one more journey to walk

On the other side

You've only got one more river to cross
One more storm to go through
You've only got one more jouney to walk
And know the waters wide
You've only got one more mountain to climb
One more hand to reach for

You've only got one more journey to walk
And you're on the other side

You've only got one more river to cross
One more storm to go through
You've only got one more journey to walk
Know the waters wide
You've only got one more mountain to climb
One more hand to reach for
You've ony got one more journey to walk
And you're on the other side
You've only got one more river to cross
One more storm to go through
You've only got one more journey to walk
Know the waters wide
You've only got one more mountain to climb

One more hand to reach for
You've only got one more jouney to walk
And you're on the other side

The valley's deep oh mountain peaks
I don't wanna lose my way
And hills are steep and I am weak

I'll journey on
The valley's deep oh mountain peaks
I don't wanna lose my way
And hills are steep and I am weak
I'll journey on(you've only got one more river to cross)
The valley is deep o'er mountain peaks(one more storm to go through)
Said I'm not gonna lose my way(you've only got one more journey to walk)
And I am weak(know the waters wide)
I'll journey on(one more mountain to climb)
One more hand to reach for
0h, not gonna lose my way
One more journey to walk

On the other side

You've only got one more river to cross
One more storm to go through
You've only got one more journey to walk

I like this song called "Hurricane" by Vaults.  I first heard their music on the Shondaland show "The Catch".

The song is probably about a breakup, but the chorus makes me think about infertility or going through a hard time in life in general.  Crap happens and it makes you feel like giving up, but you don't have to surrender; you're not alone.

[Chorus]
And I feel like we’re letting go
As my white flag hits the ground
And everyone feels the same
Picked up and thrown by a hurricane

I also find motivation in "Catch my Breath" and "People like Us" by Kelly Clarkson.

Thanks for the other song suggestions!  I have a little playlist started. :)

What about "God bless the broken road that led me straight to you"?

I'm not a country fan but I love this song.
