Ok ladies, let's share some stories! Have you had an butt cheek hang out of your sheet, embarrassing questions you had to ask, forgetting to shave your legs or changing out of your holey socks???

I've often forgotten to shave my legs. But the worst was when I uncontrollably farted in my doc's face during a pap smear. OMG I thought I was going to die. I'm sure he did too.

Oh Fey! I made chilli the night before my ET, WTF was I thinking! It's hard enough trying to hold in your pee nevermind a fart!

OK, here's mine. CD1 I went in for my AFC, which sucks because I'm FULL flow. Anyways, Dr shove's in the dildo cam and WFT, there is nothing happening on the screen. OMG, I forgot to take out my tampon. I was so embarrassed!

HA! These are awesome!

So, I am dealing with OHSS and the nurse asks me to pee into a measuring cup to keep track of fluids. Awkward enough... but then I had an especially 'lumpy' bathroom break and called in to report a 'cup of clots'.
Nurses response "Oh my god that is gross".

Awesome.

During my first ET I did as the clinic request and my bladder was FULL! Then the RE was behind about 20 min. I told the nurse I was going to burst so she gave me a mini Starbucks cup to pee in (it must have been a cream shot cup or something). When I finally went in for the ET I joked with my RE I might pee on him, he joked and said that DH would be doing the ET then. After a smooth transfer, my RE was taking out the device that keeps your lady parts open he pushed on my bladder.....well I tinkled on him.

After my ER I was so doped up from extra meds the nurse put me in the bathroom by the waiting/ recovery room to pee and all I wanted was my panties so I opened the door (single bathroom mind you) while sitting on the toilet and began calling DH. He had gone for his "turn" (if you know what I mean) but I didn't know so I kept calling him. Another lady who was waiting for her ER came to the door and said I think he had to "go". I started to cry and said "all I want is my panties" so she went to get my panties for me. (Yep, I had a stranger bring me my panties!)

During one monitoring apt my RE asked if a resident could do the ultrasound for experience, I said of course.
As I'm legs apart on the table my ex boyfriend walks in, he was the resident.
I pop my legs down and sit up quickly only to have him say "relax Cass I've done worse things down there before"
my poor RE was so confused.
I explained afterward and I've never had a resident again lol

 LOVE THIS THREAD. Mine was a CD3 u/s which is one of my heaviest days, I always hit the washroom before heading into the changeroom to get ready, I wait for the tech to open the door and just as I take a step into the exam room I feel a gush and I'm literally dripping on the floor all the way to the exam table. Ugh. Grabbed some tissues and began wiping up the "trail" I was leaving behind.
Me (Kerri-Lyn) 41, DH (Steve) 37, TTC since April 2007Unexplained IF (possibly crappy eggs, AMH 10.4 = poor responder) - HSG, SHGx3, Lap, Cycle Monitoring, Recurrent loss bloods, EMB, Karyotyping, DNA Frag - all normal! 7 IUI's, 2 cancelled IVF's, 3 complete IVF's, 1 FET, 2 clinics, 1 early miscarriage, lots of debt, lots of heartache, lots of tears. My first IVF, when transfer happened I had a full bladder. We did acupunture and I was in agony...I have a small bladder, no joke I had my HSG and the doc was like..wow you have a small bladder.

Well my transfer was running late. I was full on crying because I hate hate hate the feeling on having to pee. It was horrible I was soo embarrased.

3 Days beforehand during my retrieval, after they were done, they wheeled me to the waiting room. I have a small nose, and a small nasal passage...so I snore. My DH was sweet and thought I should stay sleeping after I passed out and I was so loud, I woke up!! There were a bunch of other couples in the waitingroom and I was mortified.

Me: 33 DH: 39
TTC: Since Valentine's day 2008
Fur Friends: Spirit , Shadow
DH and I have been together since I was 19

When we get pregnant it will be the first baby on

Wow. Mine aren't nearly as good as some of your's. Supermom: I think you take the cake!

After my laparoscopy, I was in the recovery room with a bunch of other people while my doctor told DH and I (a little too loudly) that everything looked good so we should "go home and have lots and lots of sex." I'm sure some of the other folks were wondering how you get a prescription for that.

For my first IUI, I'd had the tip off from a friend that you can go into the sample room with your hubbie to "help out". Of course they don't design these rooms for large groups so the nurse outlined all the rules as we stood in the hallway not far from the waiting room full of people. She ended with "just remember, saliva kills sperm" as we shuffled ourselves off to produce that great sample. Whoa!

OMG...that saliva comment was not appropriate - but soooo funny! I love this thread. Anyways, way back at the beginning of my journey, I had an RE who was an stern, older woman. She refused to even put me on Clomid until I lost 20 pounds, which, whatever, I mean I needed to lose more than a few pounds, but she always lectured me like she was my grandma and I always felt like I was going for a "weigh-in" when I went for appointments with her. Oh, she was so old-school that once when she was examining me, she noticed that I had done a little...ahem...bikini-line landscaping..and she goes "what is this???" I was like "um...I just neatened up the area...(sheesh)" and she goes "YOU DIDN"T TELL ME ABOUT THIS???" (what?) She she orders bloodwork to test my testorone levels (I am NOT a really hairy person, but I sure felt like I was after this!) Anyways, those test were normal, but I don't think her response was. Well, that's not the embarrasing thing that happened- one time I laid on the table for a pelvic exam and she lowers the bottom half of the table so she can get in there to do her job. Then, when she's done, she forgets to lift up the table so that I can sit up and get down (the table is high and my legs are pretty short). So the only thing I can do is kinda scootch my butt over and "hop" down off the end of the table to get my clothes. as I do this, my butt hits the edge of the table where it's hinged down and I BREAK the whole table in half. It made a huge cracking sound. I couldn't died. And of course, she has to yell at me and reiterate what she told me about losing weight. Thank God I moved and got a better RE. She was a beeotch!

I was just thankful that my husband wasn't there.
I tried so hard not to make eye contact or blush when he asked "if I had a latex allergy" or "if he should insert the wand or would I rather do it"

Please see "about me" section for details
