So Sue called to let me know that they haven't forgotten about me, but that because of my upcoming surgery I will have to wait for Dr. lee to give me the go ahead, based on what he finds/does. ARGH She did tell me that I am on both wait lists and that I am currently #153 of 170. I asked her when she thought I would cycle and she didn't want to give me an answer. She would however give me worst case scenario which is January - March 2012!!! Holy crap. I'm going to have to keep myself updated on where I am on the wait list. I may not wait and may just go to Mexico.

Plus my acupuncturist insists upon arguing with me. He just stresses me out too much. He wants me to come 3X per week and my SO as well. He doesn't seem to really believe in what Heartland does, so I may not be able to see him any more. He makes me feel guilty about only wanting to go max once a week. I didn't even go to him for help with fertility, I went to try to lessen the side effects of the treatments (bloating, weight gain etc.)!!!

I'm feeling pretty defeated right now, one stepforward, three back.

I can't believe you got told possibly March 2012. That is ridiculous! I am so upset. I registered for IVF just a few days before you...Feb. 7. So I'm in the same boat.

My DH has had a vasectomy reversal and now has low counts....around 8 million at last count. I am also having issues...I start spotting very early on in my cycle...often a day or 2 after ovulation and continue spotting until AF. Which makes implantation next to impossible. So we've got some issues. Dr. Lee suggested IVF with ICSI right off the bat. I don't want to waste time/money on IUI when I am doubtful it would work for us.

I haven't received a call yet about my HSG. I think I will call tomorrow (getting it done here in Brandon). That's the last test I need to do...for now.

Laura, which accupuncturist are you seeing? I went for 2 appointments a couple months before my ivf and he said the same thing, about wanting me to go 3x a week. I live an hour and a half from Winnipeg (Pine Falls) so 3x a week was making me stressed. I never went back.
Wantthisbad- I have my next HSG on the 15th. I'm glad cd 1 started in the right time frame (I started on Friday). Ooh Brandon! My DH grew up there.

As for me, I'm glad AF showed on the 4th. The nurse said if it showed sooner, they may have had to postpone my HSG. That would've sucked.

Did you get your CD3/21 B/W back yet? Maybe that will give you a better idea about your spotting.

I hope your HSG goes well, mine wasn't too bad, even with a blockage. Do you know how long it usually takes in Brandon? It is beautiful there! I'm sure your appointments will be easier in the summer when the roads are easier and it is light out for longer.

The date that she gave me was worst case scenario. She also said that they were working on doing things to increase the number of ladies who they cycle through. I was told they batch ladies into groups of around 35 and that they all cycle together. She also said that they don't do IVF cycling every month, they only do it about 7 to 8 times a year.

WOO HOO! That's great that your HSG will be when it was supposed to be.

The Acupuncturist is Dr. Yan. I know he believes in what he does and for the most part I do to, but I don't think he can do anything that will help with my tube! I tried to tell him that I at least want to slow it down until after my surgery results are known. I really feel like he is trying to do his own treatment, not considering what I am already doing. I think this is why AF is so late. BTW - I think she is knocking at the door.
