Hi Dr.Hollands,

I have two blasts that were frozen using vitrification. Currently, the clinic no longer freezes using the vitrification method, and is instead back to slow freeze. If I wanted to use my vitrified blasts for my next FET, is there a special process the embryologist needs to employ with these vitrified blasts for the thaw process or is it still the same thaw process in which he would employ with slow freeze ?
I do find the work of embryologsits absolutely fascinating.

The thawing process is the same for both technologies, i.e. a rapid thaw. There will be no detrimental effect on your embryos.
