Just wondering if you had to ask for a photo or if was offered? Does Genesis even give photos?

Dec.27 started Synarel, yuck! July 31 started Synarel
Jan. 8 Repronex 75 and GonalF 225 Repronex and Puregon
Jan. 11 E2 is 574 (day 4) August 16 E2 is 1014 HOLY! (day 4)
August 17 E2 is 2594 17 follies counted of similar size
Jan. 14 E2 is 5297 (day 7) Aug. 19 E2 is 5971
Jan. 15 E2 is 7453 (day 8) a large unknown spot 2x4 on my uterus, don't know if et will happen
Jan. 16 E2 is 10102 spot is smaller 1x3 Day 9 Aug.21 E2 is 16400 12/17 follies are ready, trigger tonight, starting cabergoline (destinex) to avoid OHSS
Jan. 17 E2 is 14127 spot is smaller 1x2.5 still don't know if transfer will happen

I have no idea about this clinic (just noticed your post on the new posts listing) but from my experience - my first IVF there was no mention of a photo and the thought absolutely never occurred to me - on the second IVF, the doctor (RE) came out with a photo he handed us (I think it was right after the transfer) and talked about how he liked the looks of them - maybe that's why he didn't offer a photo at the first IVF, he didn't like the looks of those as much? Anyway - just to be safe, I'd ask if they have a photo (if you want one) - since you can't go back later if they didn't take one - good luck! Hope you get some very photogenic embryos.

We got a photo at each transfer but not a photo of all of our embryos after retrieval in the petri dish or anything. We did ask each time, and they assured us each time they always give one.

We got a photo of the 3 embies they transfered! We didn't ask, they just gave it to us. We had no idea so it was a nice surprise

Decided to adopt.....approved and waiting until agency closed in Nov. 2009

FET#2-Jan. 27 2011-BFNFET #3-July 1, 2011.-BFP! looked okay for a while then ended "pregnancy of unknown location"Four embryos left.
FET#4-Feb. 17, 2012 two embryos transferred-grow embies grow! beta #1 44, #2 51 #3 207, #4 375...Found out it was ectopic lost the embies and both tubes-
I'm single now FET #5 in November 2014 BFN

They were beautiful and perfect. I believed this would be our turn but it did not work. Now I wonder what to do with the photo. I know they are gone yet I don't want to throw it out.

They were beautiful and perfect. I believed this would be our turn but it did not work. Now I wonder what to do with the photo. I know they are gone yet I don't want to throw it out.
I have an IVF file and I put my photo in there for now. I just can't part with it! I have a keepsake box filled with some things from our wedding day, old photo's, funeral cards from people that I loved. I have a feeling the photo of our embies will go in my keepsake box. It's the closest we have come to having a baby of our own and that photo gives me hope for our next cycle.

I'm going to put my picture in a special spot (I had it on the fridge but have taken it down) where I will not see it...but I won't throw it away. My friend had a m/c and she kept her ultrasound pictures - for obvious reasons she doesn't want to look at it but she kept it - that baby was still a part of her. Just like the embryos were a part of us.

Dec.27 started Synarel, yuck! July 31 started Synarel
Jan. 8 Repronex 75 and GonalF 225 Repronex and Puregon
Jan. 11 E2 is 574 (day 4) August 16 E2 is 1014 HOLY! (day 4)
August 17 E2 is 2594 17 follies counted of similar size
Jan. 14 E2 is 5297 (day 7) Aug. 19 E2 is 5971
Jan. 15 E2 is 7453 (day 8) a large unknown spot 2x4 on my uterus, don't know if et will happen
Jan. 16 E2 is 10102 spot is smaller 1x3 Day 9 Aug.21 E2 is 16400 12/17 follies are ready, trigger tonight, starting cabergoline (destinex) to avoid OHSS
Jan. 17 E2 is 14127 spot is smaller 1x2.5 still don't know if transfer will happen
Day 11, Aug.23 10 eggs retrieved, 8 were icss'd, 5 are developing!
Jan. 19 ER, 5 eggs from 16 follicles. 3 icsi's, 2 developed NO FROSTIES
Jan. 21 ET 2 embies, 2B, 4B. Aug.26 ET 3d3, 8A,8B,9B! No frosties again.
Beta Feb.4 17 possible chemical Sept.6 hpt - BFN Sept.8 Beta

I wrote a sweet good-bye letter to my embie, put the photo in the envelope with the letter, sealed it and tucked it away in a memory box.
