Hello,

I just had my transfer yesterday. They were both blastocyst. When I put the retrieval date into the due date calendar it says I am 2 weeks and 6 days pregnant. When should I expect to feel differently? I know at this stage everyone just drives them selves crazy, are they still there, did they implant, etc.....

I didn't feel anything different, even after I found out I was pregnant. Maybe around 10 weeks, I started feeling really tired, but nothing during the 2ww, but everyone is different, so don't drive yourself crazy looking for symptoms. Good luck!

I can't say I felt too different either - other than tired with sore breasts - but that could just have easily been explained by the progesterone support so I soon realized I had no idea about anything! The side effects of progesterone and the symptoms of pregnancy were pretty much the same. Good luck - don't stress about feeling stuff - to the contrary, embrace the lack of nausea!

LOL, I felt NO different until maybe 9 weeks, and I had twins with a ridiculously high beta. (500 at 9DP5DT)
Successful after 3 IVF and 1 FET. (1 chemical pg)
Blessed to have a beautiful set of twins!
Our journey to complete our family is now done-we are very thankful.

Feel free to borrow my mantra "symptoms mean nothing, no symptoms mean even less". Repeat frequently throughout the 2ww when the craziness starts to set in. Ok, it's never actually stopped my going crazy, but at least I feel like I'm doing something!

All the best.
Me 42, DH 51
TTC since Jan '08
Male factor (ASA), high FSH, etc, etc
IVF#1, March/April '09 - BFN
IVF#2, Aug '09 (after two cancellations for high FSH) - BFN, but 1 frostie in the bank.
IVF#3, Dec '09 (after more cancellations for high E2 & high FSH) - cancelled CD7 for poor response
IVF#4, Feb/March - BFN, but 4 embies frozen
FET #1 May/June (after two false starts with unmedicated/low med protocols) - only one embie out of five survived the thaw - BFN.
IVF#5, Aug '10 - cancelled after 10 days for poor response
IVF#6, Oct '10 (but really only #4 counting by ERs, after another non-starter high FSH month) - BFN, 1 embie frozen
Jan '11 - surprise offer of an egg donor, more than 12 months ahead of predicted waiting time; accepted, but deferred to pay off debts and do FET
Feb '11 - devastating earthquake in my old home town; Mum comes to live with us (not quite the addition to the family I had been hoping for); anyone want to buy a slightly broken house?
FET#2, June '11 - embie didn't survive the thaw. The last we'll be seeing of my crappy old eggs.
Final IVF (with DE), Oct '11 - 1 blast transferred the day after NZ won the Rugby World Cup (yay!), 3 on ice
Beta - 3 Nov

Is it any wonder I'm cranky?
