In 2004 my DH had a vasectomy reversal which was successful in that sperm was present but with almost zero motility and he had developed antibodies to his sperm so they were deformed and unable to "bind" to the egg. In 2008 we had a baby boy via IVF/ICSI. We were told o.1% chance of natural pregnancy ever occuring. At the time DH was a some what heavy smoker (1 1/2 packs a day) and has since quit for 9 months now. Just curious if this has been known to have any impact on male fertility, specifically motility and malformations.

my husband had very low motility and after taking selenium 200mg/day for 2 months - saw major improvement. went from 5% mot to 70% It doesn't work that way for everybody - but hey - it's just a vitamin. worth a shot.
good luck
