I wish my DH would make a decision without taking years to weigh the options. Good thing I made the TTC decision for him or we'd both be in the retirement home before he got around to it.
Me 42, DH 51
TTC since Jan '08
Male factor (ASA), high FSH, etc, etc
IVF#1, March/April '09 - BFN
IVF#2, Aug '09 (after two cancellations for high FSH) - BFN, but 1 frostie in the bank.
IVF#3, Dec '09 (after more cancellations for high E2 & high FSH) - cancelled CD7 for poor response
IVF#4, Feb/March - BFN, but 4 embies frozen
FET #1 May/June (after two false starts with unmedicated/low med protocols) - only one embie out of five survived the thaw - BFN.
IVF#5, Aug '10 - cancelled after 10 days for poor response
IVF#6, Oct '10 (but really only #4 counting by ERs, after another non-starter high FSH month) - BFN, 1 embie frozen
Jan '11 - surprise offer of an egg donor, more than 12 months ahead of predicted waiting time; accepted, but deferred to pay off debts and do FET
Feb '11 - devastating earthquake in my old home town; Mum comes to live with us (not quite the addition to the family I had been hoping for); anyone want to buy a slightly broken house?
FET#2, June '11 - embie didn't survive the thaw. The last we'll be seeing of my crappy old eggs.
Final IVF (with DE), Oct '11 - 1 blast transferred the day after NZ won the Rugby World Cup (yay!), 3 on ice
Beta - 3 Nov

Is it any wonder I'm cranky?

Girls, I'm going to start a husband obedience class, any takers? ;)

I do most of the cooking but he does at least 75% of the cleaning. Ok so I do have a back injury that doesn't agree with sweeping/mopping/standing too long etc so I suppose that helps in the convincing department but he does claim to live by the motto "A happy wife is a happy life". And we do have a "I cook, you do the dishes" agreement.

I really don't think I can follow that up with a "wish he would/wish he wouldn't" LOL

Me (Crystal): 25
DH (Scott): 28
Male factor infertility confirmed Nov 2007
First visit to Genesis March 2008
Moved from BC to Alberta Nov 2008
Attended adoption (AB gov) orientation and submitted application Dec 3, 2008
Deciding whether to use donor insemination or to adopt..or both eventually
Donor orientation at Genesis, referred to Foothills April 23, 2009
First visit to Foothills May 25, 2009-Decided to stick with Genesis

I wish my DH didn't mumble.
I wish he wouldn't pretend to hate the cat.
I wish he didn't sleep on his front. He never snores but it's impossible to make spoons.
When he's angry I wish he wouldn't hum instead of taking about it.
I wish he wouldn't jiggle my boobs when I'm trying to be angry.

OK I'm done.
5 bites at the IVF cherry, no 2 lines, no babies, despite some "good" cycles.

NK cells tested March17th 2010. HIGHLY ELEVATED - 24%

I wish DH would put the toilet seat down. It is a new thing for him. I have always had a fluffier toilet seat cover on but have now purchased one that it slimmer so the toilet seat stays up and for somereason he can't remember to put it down.

My solution, I took a pic from this email I received of a toilet seat with chains holding it down and wrote on there "keep it up, this will happen" I taped it to lid. So far so good. Posted Image

Hee hee! I've never been bothered by the toilet seat thing, because I think it must be so annoying for the guy to have to lift the thing in the first place to wee. They must be thinking, "Damn I wish that woman wouldn't keep leaving the toilet seat down!"
The solution to it is to get a soft-close toilet seat. Your man will be so fascinated by the ergonomics of it he'll put it down without fail!

While we're in the bathroom though, I WISH he would wring his face flannel out properly and not leave it sopping wet on the basin. That's the bathroom covered.

I don't have many complaintes with dh, he cooks most of the meals in this household and I bake. I do wish he'd make enough money so I wouldn't have to go back to work. Fortunatly I am in a better situation than most and I only need to go back part time:)
married since 1996. '98 went to first ob and given clomid and written off at the door. '99 went to second ob and he did a lap and said if we weren't pg in 6 months referral to RFP. '00 went to RFP and re said she couldn't explain why we couldn't get pg but didn't investigate ether. '03 natural bfp and had m/c at 12 weeks. '04 went to another ob who was an re. he did iui, testing. '05 iui with letrazole-bfn. '06 iui and clomid and cancelled cycle and went in for surgery. Lap and hysteroscopy. did iui and injections and bfn. Referred to RFP again because re got us as far as he could and re said I had high fsh, lh and pof and pcos and endo, also suggested egg donation. I wish DH would make his mind up! Does he want a baby or not? Just when I mentally move heaven and earth to arrive at a place of Zen and being happy NOT having kids, he gets all keen again! I don't know where I stand sometimes.
I guess he goes through cycles of thought just like I do.
5 bites at the IVF cherry, no 2 lines, no babies, despite some "good" cycles.

NK cells tested March17th 2010. HIGHLY ELEVATED - 24%

When did I realize I was God? Well, I was praying and I suddenly realized I was talking to myself.

I wish DH would finish the house, and not just leave it 90% complete. However, I'm sure he probably wishes I would clean the house and he never makes issue of how messy/untidy I am or my lack of interest in cleaning, so...

I wish DH liked to talk about feelings. me: :grouphug2: DH: :runaway: :sigh:

I wish DH would call me from his trip for more than just using me as his personal Google because he can't get wifi on his iPhone. :phone:

I wish DH would show some more emotion with these BFN instead of just saying ''it's not the end of the world''...and going right on with other stuff.
I wish DH wouldn't leave his computer bag right by the door and make me almost trip everytime :th_angrywife:
