Hi Melissa, sorry to hear that your FET was postponed. Hope you will be able to move ahead in June! I am also planning a FET in June. I will be doing the Lupron protocol (injections) leading up to my transfer - I've never done this before. I start on day 21 of this cycle and will continue until the day before I start prometrium - so will be on it for 3 weeks. I will add in Estrace I believe as well. I have three embryos left and will transfer 2 again.

Have you heard from Hannam yet?

Yeah my consult is July 27th and I have Dr Hannam :)

It sucks it got postponed but its also good because maybe the hysterscopy is what I need to have it work. We decided to do one more before going to Hannam because I cant handle waiting lol how do you feel about your FET?

I'm so glad you got a date!! This timing will work out well and hopefully you won't need to see Dr. Hannam at all. I hear he is wonderful.

I'm feeling good about the upcoming transfer - I always like to do something different, as everything I've previously done clearly hasn't worked so its important to try something new. I am hoping for a positive outcome! (Although sometimes that's hard when its been failure after failure).

When do you expect to transfer? My guess is mine will be around June 18 or 19...but really depends on when my period starts and how my lining looks. I'm only on day 17 of the previous cycle, so still 4-5 weeks to go.

Yes! Wed like another child too so my hope is to be pregnant and Ill take the consult with him and move my embryos and just go with Hannam. I really wanted Dr. Hannam, I just had a good feeling and I got so lucky that he had the July opening!

Thats awesome ! So Im on my way to my hysterscopy now (they think that th scar tissue was left over from my Jan surgery.) theres nothing a lot but enough that it could explain my negatives (especially because they havent implanted) so Im a little annoyed that they didnt do a sono before my first post surgery transfer, but better late then never I guess.

Today is day 8 of my cycle. With my daughter I had a hysterscopy before transferring too and my cycle was long like 33 days (I think). So I think Ill be transferring maybe around June 26 or 27.

Glad it went well Melissa87 and that everything looked normal - that's all we can hope for!  I started my lupron injections Saturday and now wait for my next cycle to start (might start Sunday) - then I will go in for baseline and start additional meds. I will also have the intralipid infusion at some point prior to my transfer.

Thanks for asking Melissa. I am doing great. My RE did a sono and cleared me for a transfer a couple months ago, but I put a break on it because I've done tons of research and came to the conclusion if I don't go into labour on time on my own I am at risk of a second C section and the only risk factor I can change is my weight (!!!). I am down 40 pounds, 15 more pounds to a normal BMI (barely), 25 pounds would be even better. I'm also stressing over the potential due date and the potential of being heavily pregnant during a prospective 4th wave of covid. If I go over dates, which my uterus seems to love, they will send me to the hospital twice a week for nonstress tests which is the opposite of nonstressful to me. I start going pretty crazy at 7 months pregnant even under normal times.

I hope they got your uterus sorted out for you. How long did you wait for the surgery? Are you a candidate for a vbac or are you an automatic scheduled c section?

Are you considering going for an embryo banking cycle with Hannam? Hope you don't end up needing it.

They got my uterus sorted finally! Its nice to feel positive! Congratulations on the weight loss. I would love a vbac but I cant change that Im high risk for another c section because of my surgery. I waited like 6 months for surgery and got in on a cancellation or it would have been 9.

As for banking yes I am thinking about it. We want two more kids and I turn 34 this year. My hope is I am pregnant, we move the embryos and bank ASAP after delivery. Otherwise Im going to listen to what they say. I do have 8 embryos but they are untested and therefore we are willing to do another cycle for sure!

I think you are more likely to have complications if you labour before your c section. A vbac is nice if it works out, but if it doesn't you would have been better with the planned c section. It's kind of a gamble.

I started to regret not testing our embryos midway through our first FET. Actually transferring them is not a pleasant way to find out if they are viable. Oh well. On the other hand, my RE said testing them bumps the success rate from 40 to 65%, so not a huge difference.

You will be transferring around my daughter's due date.

Hi all happy to find some people who understand what I'm going through. I had 2 embryos, fresh transfer didn't implant. I have a FET planned in June.

Thank you so much for the good wishes! I started my day 1 on Saturday. I am using estrace, aspirin and then PIO after the ultrasound for my lining. Does anyone else have issues with progesterone? I felt like every night I kept waking up everytime I moved. Hopefully I'm more used to it this time :)

Hi Xalo3 - I totally struggled with the PIO. At my original clinic I was on 2 ml everyday, which is a lot and causes a lot of pain. At my new clinic they created a more concentrated version so it was only 0.5 ml every other day in combination with prometrium, which was A LOT more manageable. For my last transfer, and this one coming up, I will only have the PIO 1 hour before the transfer, then will only do prometrium otherwise. My progesterone level tends to be fine, so they didn't think I needed the same level of support. Perhaps you could ask about doing the PIO in combination with something else so you don't have to take as much or as often?

Welcome Strawberrypeaches - hope this is a successful cycle for you!

AFM - I am STILL waiting for AF. It was due Sunday, and of course it is taking its time. I totally believe the lupron is causing the delay. My clinic said not to worry and that it will come. Hoping it will either later today or tomorrow (starting to feel like its on its way).
