I had my FET in late April. The beta test after two weeks came back negative. Upon asking the nurse, she told me that the beta reading was 0.1 that means the embryo never implanted anywhere inside.

Has anyone been throught this situation where embryo never implanted? where did it go then?

I am devastated to say the least. I am waiting to speak to my RE. How long one had to wait before trying for 2nd FET? What is the minimum wait between transfers?

Were there any more tests done to determine the failure and to prepare the uterus better for the next transfer?

I had done ERA and had been on medicated cycle with Estrace pills and Progeterone suppositories and injections on alternate days.

Hi Pebbles,
This 0 implantation happenned to me as well with my first fresh cycle and with 2 'perfect' hatching embryos my RE said he would bet money on. It was very difficult to understand how the 2 embryos didnt even begin to implant especially when of such good quality. I waited 1 or 2 months for my next transfer and one of the 2 implanted but resulted in miscarriage at 9 weeks even after the heartbeat. My RE recommended immune testing but no issues were found and my infertility continued to be unexplained. That was it for embryos from that cycle even after extracting 17 eggs. I began my next cycle 2 months later and only extracted 6 eggs. Those 6 eggs lead to 5 embryos and my now 3 children and 2 embies on ice. When nothing implanted I still remember the feelings of hopelessness and that ivf was simply impossible but sometimes it takes a couple cycles for it to work with unfortunately very few predictors of success. Im so sorry you are going through this and its so easy to give up hope but there can be light at the end of the tunnel even if it doesnt feel like it right now. ❤

Hey Pebbles,

Sorry for this failed cycle. I was also in this boat in Nov when my only one embryo didn’t implant. I was devastated and angry, felt hopeless for a while. If you don’t mind me asking what was your ERA result?

I agree with Mcbealz, knowing your ERA result might give some insight. I am sorry, all you're experiencing right now is shared by a lot of us.

my ERA result revealed that i needed an extra day of progestreone. So i needed 6 days instead of 5 days od progestreone for fet

Have your embryos been PGS tested?  If you had an ERA done, lining was good, and embryo was PGS tested, I would just chalk it up to bad luck and your next FET will hopefully be successful.  If your embryos weren't PGS tested, then possibly it was an abnormal embryo.  Good luck with your next FET!

agree witt Global 100, if implantation is the issue, PGS NGS might be the best way to improve chances on the 2nd try. Good luck!

I had 2 failed cycles and finally my FET was successful. It took a long time but finally happened.

We are going through another FET in December for a second child.

Don't get too discouraged. Its trial and error.
