The short version of my story is I have done two ivf cycles, one funded one not and both were successful. I got 8 and 5 embryos. I was in my early 30s and so at the time pgs testing didnt seem worth it.

First transfer resulted in my daughter, and since then Ive had four transfers all failed and no clinical pregnancy. My doctor blames the embryos. On a level i get it, I know they arent all normal and even the ones that are arent necessarily going to stick .

My uterus apparently looks great and I did a Matris before my last transfer and scored 8.5. My lining is always triple stripped and good. This could be bad luck and I get it, but there also could be an issue and I am having a hard time getting her to agree to more testing like an era. I also had a surgery to repair my c section in Jan and have had chronic utis since my pregnancy.

I decided to call Hannam and ask for a consult. Theres a few month wait but Im really hoping for more testing or at least a change in transfer protocol. I definitely feel like I need a second opinion.

My questions are as follows:

1. Does anyone know how hard/risky it is to transfer embryos between clinics?

2. Can you pgs test frozen embryos?

Can anyone tell me positive stories about Hannam? I would love to avoid doing another ivf cycle, but if I only have a few normal embryos I will just because Im turning 34 this year and I dont want to wait anymore.

Hi - I repled on another thread as well about transfering embryos. It's an easier process especially for the Toronto clinics that are close together. The clinic will help arrange it.

You can PGS test embryos after they are frozen, but everytime you thaw embryos you risk haven't something going wrong. I was in the same boat, didn't PGS test origianlly and when I switched to Hannam we asked about it and it wasn't recommended.  They will advise you more on that though as I'm sure there are many factors involved in the decision.

Feel free to PM with any other questions.

I do not what embryos were tested when a friend of mine was undergoing her treatment. but PGS NGS worked out for her.
