I didn't go through IVF with First Steps - I was super lucky to get pregnant through IUI (although it wasn't our first try). How are you feeling today? I go for my transfer this morning!

Keep hope!!! My doctor said bleeding one week after is normal and that 9 days is the earliest you can test realistically. I know how hard it is to hold on to hope (and that it can be totally defeating) - hang in there.

Transfer today was great. I learned that all 5 of my fertilized embryos made it to blastocyst today and were all good quality (woohoo!). They transferred 2 5AB embryos. Time will tell if it works. I've been really mindful the past couple days of twinges and cramps that i have from the progesterone and estrace, so my goal is to not symptom hunt and just go with it.

I feel completely fine unfortunately! The progesterone was giving me insomnia and my allergies werent helping but my clinic said I could take Tylenol to help with some of the soreness from the shorts and Benadryl for my allergies and it worked well!. So now Im only somewhat tired and bloated. Nothing else at all! How about you?

Sometimes no symptoms are a good sign - hopefully! I'm doing fine - a bit tired, have had a bit of cramping (but think that's the progesterone and estrace) and my lower back has been really stiff and kind of sore (but that's probably a symptom of working from home!). So other than that, really not really noticing any symptoms. It feels like my transfer was so long ago already - hard to believe its only been 2 days.

I will try not to do a HPT. After 6 failed transfers, I also like just being PUPO, knowing I had 2 good quality, growing embabies put into me :)

I'm sorry Melissa87. Good news is you have a plan!! I can't remember what the intake forms look like, but perhaps its worth writing to the administration to let them know that you have embryos and are essentially looking to transfer them.

So, is you plan to do another transfer with First Steps? Will you meet with your Dr. to discuss what you could do differently?

I had a phone call today! Shes blaming the embryos and thinks we should do the same thing again. Im really hesitant to keep repeating what failed without additional testing. My husband is anxious and impatient for another pregnancy and wants to do one more given that there is a bit of wait to get into Hannam.

When I called before I told them I was a patient elsewhere and I wanted to switch clinics and I had embryos to transfer. I am really hoping they call back today. My husband is on board for another ivf cycle at Hannam if needed because I was in tears worried all the embryos were bad lol. So thats a good thing for sure.

I'm glad there you were able to chat with her, but it definitely is hard when you keep repeating the same thing and don't get a different result. Keep advocating for yourself - you're doing all the right things. Keep asking questions and challenging ideas.

And I'm glad that you called Hannam! Hope they call you back soon.

I'm feeling fine - 4dt5dt transfer now...so happy its almost he weekend!

I'm doing fine - anxious about tomorrow. Hoping for a good outcome! I haven't had a ton of symptoms - mostly stuff related to the estrace and prometrium. I have had a very tender/cranky lower back though since the day after my transfer. At the end of the day, I know we've done everything we can do get a different result, so we will see. You just never know with these things!

How are you feeling? Gearing up for another transfer? What would the timing be?
