Hello!

I am Dean, a uterus-owning queer who always wanted babies regardless of other goals in life. My husband is a straight cis man and we've been together for over 6 years. We've been through the shenanigans of failed IUIs (so many) and the f*ckery that is funded ivf. We are current on our second ivf frozen transfer attempt.

Edited to add: we have 4 embryos left after this transfer right now. We had 6 successful frozen embryos. I'm 31, he's 35.

Welcome. What were your issues with the funded cycle?

It was having to wait more than a year, signing so many papers, and the top shenanigans was that because I had never done this before I had no idea what questions to ask, what tests to ask for and ask which are paid and which are not, etc etc. It is a very opaque process, especially because I'm prone to anxiety.
