I think you have a good list there. Your second request for a Dr that has lots of experience and is good AND does not have a long waiting time will be hard to fulfill. In general, if you are willing to pay out of pocket rather than waiting for a funded spot, then you can start a cycle much more quickly. There is still a wait to actually see the Dr though.

Hey, can I ask what your specific fertility issue is? Best to get a doc that specializes in your condition. I have DOR and wish I would have found a Dr. that specializes in this at the beginning. I was at Create first a had a terrible experience with a Dr. there, they misdiagnosed me and were very rude. We then switched to Repromed- though you will get in right away for funded cycle and the nurses are nice, the Dr. just used the same ol' procedure and didn't switch anything up when cycles didn't work (did two cycles with them). He was also really pushing donor eggs even in first cycle (I think that's their speciality). We then switched to Hannam (Dr. Garbedian) and I am 10 weeks pregnant on first cycle with her. They are more pricey but for us it was well worth it. She's super up to date on the latest research and I found my care to be very personal/tailored to my body's needs. I have also heard good things about Trio, Dr. Chang in particular.  Hope you find the doc/clinic right for you!

Hi I want to stress that I am safe and I hope u all are as well.

OCD is very misunderstood within society and is often utilised as a 'quirky' character trait.

If I had a penny for every time I have heard someone say "I am so OCD as I hate mess" or "you are so neat you must have OCD" I would be rich. What these people don't realise is that OCD is crippling. It invades into your life and makes simple day tasks exhausting.

There are also so many different forms of OCD so characterising OCD as just being neat can be seriously damaging. I personally will not call someone out for using phrases like the ones I previously mentioned as I know that it is due to a lack of education on OCD. I guess I just wanted to know how you guys respond to phrases like these? Do you start a conversation with people? Or do you just ignore it? Finally I would like to finish this off by saying I hope u are all well and remember we are in this fight together!

Hi! I am currently with Dr. Virro at the Markham Fertility Centre. I absolutely love Dr. Virro and if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have my family.

I had 2 successful IUIs with him (I have an 8 and 10 year old. I am very fortunate that they both took the first try) and I'm currently on my second IVF attempt. First one was in September. We definitely learned a lot during that cycle but I'm really really feeling good about this current cycle! :)

I could not reccommend Dr. Virro and his whole team enough! They are incredible. I will say though that Dr. Virro does not sugarcoat things. He is very honest and to the point but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Hey! I'm new to this forum. Was wondering if anyone had any feedback on One Fertility in Burlington.

We got pregnant with Create first try with embryos to spare. I have reason to believe their embryologist(s)/lab is/are superior. We had 100% fertilization with our testicular ICSI procedure. They have virtually no wait time for the funded waitlist. Create is competitively priced. On the other hand, all the 3 and fewer star google reviews are accurate. You do your waiting in the wait room and the exam rooms and the procedure rooms. 2 hours is a short visit for Create. Some of the staff are very rude and they constantly drop the ball. I have left that place more than once extremely upset. Due to the cause of our infertility, if I had to do another cycle I would use them again but if we had a simple case of infertility, for the sake of our mental health I would want to use a different clinic. Dr.s Sharma and Librach have an aggressive style of medicine, which is good for DOR, probably not good for others.
