My menstruation cycle is irregular but occurs continuously. I'm expecting a baby. Should I take medicine to make the cycles regular or can I expect pregnancy without any medication

You need to find out why your cycle is irregular. You could be ovulating only a handful of times a year, which will make it difficult to conceive. A common reason for irregular cycles is polycycstic ovarian syndrome.

Thanks for information, if you're aware, could you please mention other symptoms related to this syndrome except irregular cycle?

Thank you for sharing. I will talk with family physician. Currently, I'm not suffering any of  these symptoms.  but what is this "Male pattern hair growth"? My hands and legs are too hairy for a woman. It comes for my childhood. Is this a symptom?

Hi I have PCOS. I had irregular period meaning I have period every week. Last three years I have continously taking hormone drugs given from fertility clinic so I can't really answer if my issue fixed. However this month and few months before I noticed I no longer have weekly period. My period came on 28th day but just too light because I probably have low progesterone. What I did to achieved this was go do acupuncture. Move to organic food, cut red meat, and high sugar foods even popcorn and potatoes. Recently I cut back dairy. In Chinese medicine this is because we have dampness and the food I mentioned add more towards dampness. My naturopath told me to cut these foods as well. Sweet potatoes and quinoa are fine and help you fill your stomach. In terms of hairiness, I don't have beard but do have hairy legs even on my feet. I am skinny but most common way is to lose weight and exercise to improve. For people like me who are skinny and do thirty minute walk every day we can only control through food. Basically pcos is similar to diabetics our insulin needs to be controlled.
