Wish all the ladies good luck.
Smiley: How do you feel about a day-6 blast? Did you have any prior experience that you can share? My wife's transfer will happen sometime in early October and it will be a day-6 hatched blast. I spoke with many people including the embryologist and heard mixed opinions. Day-5 is preferred but many people had successes with day-6 too.
Posted 20 September 2020 - 02:27 PM
Smiley - hope your transfer happens any moment now!
Tsm, my now 27 months toddler was a 6-days blast at some point This time around I didn't even ask at what day my embryos were frozen, because it doesn't really matter - if they made it this far, it's a great chance of success!
AFM, I had my Beta today and it's 161 I'm very happy with the number and will schedule the second one for Sept 22.

Congratulations to you all.
Things don't look good for me. I haven't ovulated. It should have happened on Saturday or Sunday but nothing is going on. I'm feeling sad looks like I may have to wait until October My cycle is always very predictable and that's why I was doing a natural transfer but not this time. The nurse told me not to give up yet and wait a couple of days before going in for an ultrasound to check the follicles. I'll do as they ask, but I don't fee positive not even the usual 'symptoms' I usually get before confirming with the predictor kit.
tsm- you were asking about how I feel about 6 day blasts. I have heard and read the same that day 5s are better but my clinic was encouraging about day sixes. They've had success in the past with day sixes.
fuzzydust-good to know you had sucess with a day 6.
welcome Mrs. T.

tabkay - sorry for no second line yet It's still really early, but I understand how it feels after you already had a different experience before. I guess that's why clinics ask not to test at home (but most of us totally don't listen to that...)
Fingers crossed for that second line to show its appearance when you try again !!!!
