Hi all, I had my fresh embryo transfer. During the procedure I didnt see on the ultrasound screen the embryo. Last time I remember seeing the small lump being released.
Is this ok?

I didn't see my embryo and she's next to me sleeping in her bouncer.

I didn't even know that it can be seen. Never paid attention to this, probably because of my thoughts during the process. I will definitely ask my dr this time and try to focus on that moment.

From what my ER described - embryo itself is too small to see, but the embryologist usually attaches a tiny air bubble to it, so that's what you can usually see on the ultrasounds. But the bubble is so small - it really only looks like a small speck of light.

Also, right after transfer the tube is returned to the embryologist to check under the microscope that the embryo is indeed gone from it.

I know it because on my very first transfer it was not gone and they had to go back in with it :) (which is apparently a sign of good luck - "sticky embryo")
